Harleen was getting her life back on track. She had been studying, shopping a bit, everything a normal human would do. She still needed a job though, but she was working on that.
----------------------------------
Days kept passing by, Joker was getting more and more depressed without Harley. All he could think of were the things she did, her personality, her smile. The things that he pretended to be irritated by but he really did like them.
He just sat there, his cold hands on his warm knees. Everything was cold in there but he was used to it. He had been there so many times he tried to ignore it.

Joker looked up at the beige ceiling in his dusty, old cell. Thoughts and memories began creeping into his mind again. Just the ones that had Harley in them; or even Harleen. The person she was before she became Harley...

~Flashback~

Harleen and Joker were sat in Jokers cell, once again, but this time it was different. Harleen could hear faint explosions coming from down the hall in the asylum. When she looked at Joker, he had a psychotic grin on his face. Harleen's eyebrow began to raise,

"Mister J?" Harleen asked, listening to the shooting so close to where they were. Suddenly the door of the cell burst open and two of Jokers henchmen were stood in view. They gripped Harleen's arms and she immediately began squirming in their grip.

"Bring her to the lab" Joker told his henchmen, who didn't say anything, but obeyed his order. Frost was walking toward Joker, holding his purple coat. Joker took of his shirt and grabbed the coat out of Frost's grip. Joker placed one arm in and put the other in after. He began walking toward the lab but before getting there, he took of the coat and threw it behind him. He felt it wasn't right to wear it. Frost managed to catch it before it landed on the floor.

The henchmen strapped Harleen on a metal table.

"Hey! Get off me!" Harleen screamed, trying to kick them away from her. Joker walked into the lab, carrying a bat. Frustrated by the mess, Joker lobbed the bat at someone's head, knowing them out. He threw the bat on the ground and walked over to the metal table. Frost was holding his gun to Harleen's head while Joker walked to him.

"I'll be right back, once I'm back, I want all of you gone except my sweet pumpkin here" Joker said, and with that, he walked away.

Harleen laid in that room for a very long time. She didn't know how long for but it was more than a hour.
His voice was loud and clear,

"Well, what do we have here?" Joker walked into the room, arms stretched. He walked over to the table and pulled a bright light close to Harleen's face.

"What are you gonna do, are you gonna kill me mister J?" Harleen asked, while shaking her head.

"What?" Joker said, touching her temples. He grabbed two shockers and held them in his hand, "Oh, I'm not gonna kill ya, I'm just gonna hurt ya, really, really bad" Joker said, grinning at her.

"Well I can take it" Harleen said, nodding her head. Before she knew it, the shockers were pushed against her temples, sending painful waves of electricity through her brain and body.
