Teddy's head pounded. He wasn't sure what happened. The pounding pain lessened, and his eyes snapped open. But that didn't help with his confusion. It looked like he was outside, but it was grey and dull, almost like the photo. Even the scenery looked exactly like the photo did. Looking around more, he noticed some slightly familiar looking four boys in the distance. The boys in the picture. And thats when he finally realized, he was in the picture! But how did he get there?
As Teddy came closer to the boys, their conversation became audible.
"Sirius, you alright, you seem down." A boy said. He looked a lot like Harry.
"James." Teddy whispered as he came closer.
"If it's the Howler you should forget about them." Another boy said. This boy had sandy brown hair and some scars on his face.
"Dad." Teddy gasped. They looked so much like each other. (if Andrew Garfield played young Remus Lupin)
"I know. But my mum doesn't want me to hang around with you guys. All her rants about blood purity, it makes me sick." Young Sirius exclaimed.
"So you won't listen to her?" a young boy squeaked, almost like a noise.
"Peter." Teddy growled, eyes turning red.
"Never." Sirius laughed.
Then something weird happened. The whole place jumped. And then;
"Sirius, you alright, you seem down."
Teddy frowned. The conversation was starting again.
"Wait, I'm in a moving wizard photo, it can't go on forever." Teddy said, thinking aloud. "So I just need to move to the next photo."
Going back to where he first woke up, he tried to remember what the page looked like. It was the first photo, the one he was in, so all he had to do was go right. And hopefully, that should take him into the next one, and the next, and so on until he gets out .... hopefully.
Taking a deep breath, Teddy started jogging right, working his way up into a full on sprint. The edge of the forest was heading his way fast. He was almost going through, when ... CRASH!!
Teddy smashed into something solid at full speed, sending him flying backwards with a bloody nose and a pulsing forehead. His vision flickered black for a few seconds before clearing. Teddy stood up and stumbled around until his coordination was back to normal. Teddy pressed his hands against the side, curiosity crossing his face. He couldn't get through. So he was stuck. Stuck inside a stupid photo that didn't even make any sense!
Suddenly, swirling writing that looked like fire appeared above Teddy, drawing his attention.
'Use the door' it read.
"Door? What door?" Teddy said, looking around. Almost as if someone was watching him, some of the trees beside him clicked, and swung backwards slightly, letting in some light. Pushing it cautiously, Teddy stepped through into the light.
The light soon dissolved into the next photo which he recognized; it was Sirius and this girl talking quietly in the corner, getting all touchy and weird. Teddy tried to block out the conversation because it was .... disturbing and creepy. And once again, when he needed it most, the door appeared and took him back to the first photo. But this time, there was a trapdoor and he jumped down into it, landing heavily on his bum in the next photo.
There seemed to be a pattern with the photos. It always seemed to consist of Sirius and some random, needy and whiny girl, alone somewhere and talking about the same things; sex and Sirius's family life. The last few photo's weren't too bad. There were no random girls and uncomfortable conversations; it was just Sirius with someone who had short hair, just sitting in a romantic silence in a beautiful scenery.
As Teddy entered one photo, his breath caught in his throat. There was a beautiful fiery coloured sunset with the silhouette of two people hugging. But what made Teddy freeze, is that the first night he had kissed Victoire, had looked just like this. It was on a small, private hill near the lake. Peaceful, quiet, not very well known. Teddy sunk onto the grass and watched the sunset with teary eyes. His heart ached to see Victoire again, he missed her. And she probably didn't even know that he was stuck in the past, and now stuck in a photo album with no idea on how to get out again. Sniffing loudly, he stood up, knowing that staying there wasn't going to fix things. Looking back at the sunset which reminded him so much of her, Teddy left through the door, without a second glance.
It was the last photo now. He hadn't given that one much of a look, and he was glad he didn't. In a corner of a deserted corridor was Sirius kissing someone, as usual, but it wasn't who Teddy expected it to be. In Sirius's arms was a certain sandy brown haired boy with scars.
"Dad!" Teddy cried out in horror, jumping back. He wasn't homophobic, not in any way. But seeing his dad ... and Sirius, was uncomfortable and a little scary. A door opened beside Teddy and he yanked it open without hesitation, but he didn't walk into it straight away. Instead of the light being dull and full mystery, it was bright white and blinding. A white light is usually a good thing. Running into a white, however, is not. Teddy sighed and walked backwards.
"They always say 'don't to go into the light'." Teddy said, staring straight in the light. "But, as a wise man once said, NEVER WEAR A TAMPON IF YOU'RE A BOY!!"
Teddy started running as he said the last sentence. And as the last word left his lips, he jumped straight into, the blinding white light ... into the unknown.......
