Azula:
I am the rightful heir to the throne... I am the prodigal daughter... I was one of a kind.. But here I was in a ice ridden fortress. The iron metal is frigid cold. My half cut hair lays disarrayed in my face. Chains around my wrists, connected to the walls behind my back. I stared at the bars that encased me into this confined place. I was alone with my thoughts... Which is a curse. My mother's voice echoing in my head. I mutter some nothings, when suddenly I see a light source through the door on the other side. The door opened and their stood something I did not expect, "Look who it is... My baby brother.."  He scoffed. "I'm not here for your rude remarks. I'm here for some questions.." I grinned, "Sokka told you didn't he?"

He stayed silent for a moment, "How do you know about mother's letters?" I smiled, "I found them in dad's room. I read a few before I heard him coming down the hall." He nodded, "What did they say?" I smiled, "Why do you care Zuzu?" He was starting to get frustrated. "Why should I tell you?" I gave a smirk, "I know what the letters said.." He sighed, "I'm going to go find her." I was shocked with silence. I was also angered. "She always liked you better.." He rolled his eyes, "Tell me what they said!!" I gave a hysterical laugh, "They were nothing special just saying she wanted nothing to do with our father.. She was living in some village near a temple of weird monks." He ran to the bars of my cell, "Where was the temple!?"

I smiled, "You have to take me with you.." He got angrier, "No way.. Your to much of a hazard! Now tell me!" I gave a sly smile, "Take me and I will.." Out of frustration he stood and punched the wall. "I wonder if Kyra knows.." I quickly stood my wrists behind me stretching the chains connected to the wall.  "She knows nothing!! She is nothing but scum!" He smiled, "Maybe I will just ask her instead.." He turned to leave, "It was the small town near the Great Divide!" He turned, "Really?" I fell to my knees, "Yes.. She was near a temple there where they took care of her. That was the last letter that was sent to father.."

He sighed, "Thank you.." He grabbed the handle,"I can't take you with us Azula... You aren't you..." I scooted back into the position I was in before, "Understood.." He opened the door and looked at me, "I'll tell her you love her.."  I became angry, "Get out..." He sighed and left.. I went to my thoughts and began to cry. I stopped and looked up at the ceiling a window was above it with metal stack to keep me in, "Maybe... I'll tell her myself."

Zuko POV

I closed the door behind me, I could hear her crying. In that moment for the first time in my life I felt sympathy for her. Sokka stood looking at me, "Are you alright?" I must have had a weird look on my face so I stood straight, "Yes Sokka, I'm fine. I got what I needed." He nodded and led me to the ice palace. We sat in a office in two chairs facing each other, "This is bizarre don't you think?" Sokka said sipping some hot tea. I nodded, "It is peculiar that I have random dreams of my mother and Azula mentions some letters." Sokka slouched a bit realizing he wasn't being watched by anyone offical.

"What do you think Kyra is going to say about this?" He said looking to me. I sighed and looked to the window to our right, "I do not know honestly. She might not say anything for she is under oath. We might need the creepy brothers to be with us to be influential to her to tell us." He nodded, "I can arrange that." I nodded, "How's Toph?" He was quiet for a moment, "Exhausted. I always wanted to have child with Toph but not like this. After that gang raid we did when we first started at the police academy she became distant. She cut me out of her life for good and broke up the relationship. Then when I became on official of the council and started to be around Republic City a lot she started to talk to me again. Then one night she asked me over and yeah.." I smiled, "She loves you Sokka. Don't let her sarcastic tone fool you. She's happy she is pregnant with your baby."

He sighed, "How can you tell? I can't read her to save my life..." I turned to him, "She wouldn't have let you been in the baby's life. Lin's father isn't around.. Obviously she didn't love him." He nodded, "I guess your right." Suddenly shuffling came from the hallway. Sokka stood straight up. Toph and a few White Lotus Memebers entered, "Sokka, Zuko... We have some news..." I stood straight up, "What's wrong?" I said with concern. She sighed, "Ozai... Has requested your presence. The Northern Water Tribe have brought him by ship up here." I collapsed in the chair behind me. Sokka looked to me, "Very peculiar indeed..."

We all went out and into the Northeren Water Tribe'a ship. Sokka was talking to the Chief of the Northern Water Tribe as I stood next to Toph. "How are you feeling?" She smiled, "I've vomited more than you could even imagine.. " I chuckled, "Sounds exciting." She giggled, "Oh it's a blast." Sokka interuppted us, "He said we can go in.." We entered and were lead to the Ship's dungeon. The General stood outside the door, "You should know he's completely deranged, hard to understand. When he was in his cell, he just screamed 'He needed to tell him, she's in danger.'" I nodded, "Thank you.." I entered alone.

He sat in a ball breathing deeply. "What do you want?" He sat up slowly. "She came to me in a dream." I was silent.. He continued, "I can only dream about her. I can see the letters she sent me. The temple near the Great Divide. How she had killed my father, not for me but for you... For the sake you would change your ways and over throw me. I never thought it would come true..." I stood there, "She killed him?" He nodded, "I had plans on sending you away.. But she fought for you." I nodded, "What else?"  His eyes bloodshot and wide, "She had found a new man...." I felt my knees weaken.. "That is all I know.." I nodded, "Why did you come here to tell me this?" He looked up at me with his eyes swollen and black. "I do not know.. I do not remember..." He leaned back into the corner, muttering, "Spirt, danger, death. Bloodshed...." He then collapsed into the floor drooling.

I ran out of the room and slamming the door behind me. Sokka and Toph stood outside, "How did it go?" Sokka said worried. I looked up, "We need to get to the Southern Air Temple. Right now. My wife needs to answer some questions." I stormed out and tried to find fresh air.. When I found it I stared at the water, having so many questions that needed answering.
