"Blake?"

your eyes went wide when you saw him

The guy turned his head around along with the blonde girl.

You saw her arm wrapped around his arm. you frowned

"Y/N?" He took off his sunglasses when he saw you

"Oh my God, how have you been?" Blake greeted you smiling widely as he pulled you into a quick hug

"oh, I'm totally fine. Anyway, this is my girlfriend, Kaia" you introduced them

they nodded and shook hands

you saw he was happy and smiling genuinely

"Blake? who is this?" you asked him

he smiled
"This is Taylor"

you smiled at her and you all introduced each other

but as soon as you remember, your smile fell into a frown
"uhh- Blake? where's Kendall?"

his smile fade a little and you saw him frowned
"Oh, you didn't know"

you shook your head 'no'

"she broke off the wedding the last minute Y/N"

So you found out that Taylor was Blake's fiancé  which they were actually childhood friends and they were planning on getting married in late December.

Blake told you that Kendall broke off the wedding. Blake said that Kendall couldn't do it because she was in love with someone else.

Being the good guy, Blake understands.

But Kendall's family? not so much.
well mostly Kris.

"So where is she now?" you asked him

he shrugged
"I don't know, honestly- I haven't spoken to her since then"

you just nodded

"But I think she was busy with pursuing her career- modeling" he said

"ohh"

"anyway, why did you stop being friends with Kendall? I was just wondering" he asked

"uhh- no reasons, I guess people just...grows apart" you told him

he shrugged it off

"when she broke it off, were you okay?" you asked him wanting to know his feelings

he just stared down
"I guess I was hurt- because I cared for Kendall. But at some point, I was also relieved because I wasn't in love with her. I mean what's the point of marrying someone if we don't love them right?"

you listened to him and nodded understandingly

"anyway, we have to go now- it was nice meeting you guys" He got up as they bid goodbyes at you & Kaia
