How about this happy little glitch? You notice an error in one of your books/stories, so you quickly pop into the book hit edit and fix it! Wham, bam, ampersand, all done! You stare at it, read it over a couple of times to make certain you haven't missed anything. Nod to yourself and maybe grin a little, proud that you got that little error all fixed up!
Now you hit "save" and head out to go back into the book and see it from your readers perspective, you know just 'cause. And WHAT THE HECK? the original error is still there!
