Chapter 9 ~ another day

Crystals pov

~3 days later~

I was in the training room in the Batcave, today was the day the team was going to see Mount Justice but that wasn't until 2 it was currently 5:30 in the morning. Right now I was punching the life out of a punching bag. I was really bored at the moment, I kept punching and punching until surprisingly the bag broke off the chain. Hmm that weird it usually explodes. I gave it a kick and it exploded sand spilling out.

" Ahhhh there you go." I smiled in satisfaction.

" what did that punching bag ever do to you?" Yelled a voice from the door.

" it challenged me." I turned around and smirked finding G right in front of me.

" hey wanna go do something we haven't spent a day together in like a month." He groans laying on the floor.

I smirked," only if you beat me in a sparring match."

" your going down star." He said getting up.

" not if I can help it."

We both got in a fighting position and heard the computer talk.

I sent the first punch getting him in the stomach, he stumbled a bit but quickly recovered sending a punch straight for my face. I stopped him, grabbed his arm and flipped onto the ground. He rolled over kicking his legs I fell and G pinned me down.

" see I win." He smirked

" I wouldn't say that just yet." I smirked back his face was full of confusion I kicked him in the stomach and we switch positions he was now on the floor and I was on top of him.

" see I win." I retorted.

"Winner Star" said the computer. I got off him and grabbed a towel and a water bottle and threw it to G. He was still on the floor clenching his stomach groaning.

" so are we leaving or not cause I have to take a shower?" I asked walking towards him.

" but you won?" His face filled with confusion.

" that doesn't mean I don't want to spend time with my Best Friend." I said sitting down and grabbing his water bottle drinking from it.

" that was mine you know that right?" He smiled sitting up. I nodded and finished the bottle throwing it at him.

" Indirect kiss." He made a kissy face and I shoved him laughing.

" shut up." I stood up," I'm going to take a shower give me 30 mins."

" seriously 30 minutes." He stared.

" yes 30 mins I don't just wake up like this," I said pointing to my face," well I did actually wake up like this but... You know what whatever."

~ time skip to after the shower~

I wrapped a towel around my waist and came out of the shower, steam filling into the room but quickly disappearing. I walked to my closet and pulled out a pair of white shorts and a pink crop top. I went back to the bathroom and put on a light amount of makeup which included mascara, lip gloss, blush, and some eyes shadow. I grabbed my brush and started brushing through all the knots. I dried it a bit and put it into a braid I smiled and walked out my door finding G right outside of it using his phone.

" I'm ready." I said grabbing my purse.

" uhh no your not." He said pushing back into your room. I gave him a confused look.," you are going nowhere dressed like that."
