Family time

Ebony POV

I'm standing behind demi, gripping on to her shirt. We're stood outside her family home. Before we go in she turns round and bends down to my height. Taking my hand in hers she looks into my eyes,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

"Ebony, if you need me come and get me, if it's getting too much tell me and Marissa is here too if you want her. Take everything at your pace, but I can promise you there is nothing to be afraid of"

With that said, she stands up, opens the door and walks into the house. I'm holding her hand, I'm not ready to let go just yet.

"DEMI" screams maddie, running up to demi and jumping on her, almost knocking me over.

Demi hugs maddie, while Marissa puts her arm around me, steading me.

"Woah maddie, watch my baby girl"

"Sorry dem I've just really missed you"

"I've missed you too mad, where's mum and Dallas?"

"In the garden, they can't wait to meet ebony" maddie says turning to smile at me

Maddie runs outside into the garden, before we follow demi turns round again.

"You ready baby girl?"

"I think so"

"Come on then" she says taking my hand and leading me outside.

"Oh my God!!!! Demi she's sooooooo cute" screams Dallas standing up to come and greet us, she walks over and demi squeezes my hand reassuringly.

"Welcome to the family ebony" dianna says also getting up to come greet us.

"You picked a little stunner there demi" Dallas adds

"I know I did" says demi giving me a little wink.

Eddie is stood behind the barbecue and we all walk over and sit around him on the garden furniture. I like the fact it's in a circle, it's really cute. Demi sits on one of the big chairs and pulls me on to her knee.

Everyone is chatting and having a huge catch up when maddie turns and asks me,,,,

"Wanna go off for a bit eb, I wanna get to know my niece better" she says and everyone laughs

I look up at demi and she discreetly whispers in my ear

"It's up to you baby, I'll be right here but you'll be fine with maddie. Go play, you deserve to have some fun"

I smile at her and jump off her knee. Me and maddie start running across the other side of the garden towards the trampoline. I really like maddie, maybe she could be my first real friend.

Demi's POV

Aww, I'm so happy ebony is getting on with maddie, I can see them in the distance flipping about on the trampoline. It's so nice seeing ebony have fun like this, it's been so long since she's had the chance to just be a little girl and play.
I'm interrupted from my thoughts by my mum,,,,,,

"So dem, how you finding being a mum?"

"I love it, I know it's only been like two days but she's my baby girl, I'd do anything for her. Yeah I know she's got a few problems but it's my job to help her with them, we'll get it sorted together"

"Have you thought about what you're going to do about schooling her, I mean I know it's the holidays now but what happens when they're over. Are you planning on putting her in mainstream school?"

"I don't see how I can due to the fact her anxiety is so bad, there is no way I'm sending her into school knowing she's just going to have panic attack after panic attack. I think I'll have to get her a tutor, but one who can come on the road with us, I'm not leaving her while I'm working, she's staying with me. Plus I think her being around my working environment will help her because she's constantly going to be around people"
