Selena's P.O.V.

Opening the first dressing room, I, out of breath say, "Forre-" I'm unable to complete his name due to the amount of shock I am. Forrest isn't alone.

He's here with a girl. Not just any girl, my mortal enemy, Resa Landing. No, it's not a conversation where they are several feet apart. Their bodies are pressed together and their lips attached. Their kiss is filled with so much passion that they don't notice. They don't even bother to stop.

Disgusted, I question, "Forrest?"

He rips his lips from Resa's and whips his head in my direction. Once he realizes that I'm the one who called him out, his face flushes. Resa smirks at me. I ignore her entirely and just stare wide-eyed at Forrest.

"What? How? Why? Forrest? Please tell me that my eyes are deceiving me? Or at least, tell me that she bamboozled you into this," I beg.

Resa cockily says, "I didn't bamboozle him into anything. Logan
actually likes me."

She called him by his first name. Throughout high school and when they first started dating, Taylor was the only one to call Forrest by his first name. It always annoyed him, but it's one of the things that he loved most about her. Taylor finally gave in to calling him Forrest near the end of their relationship.

It shocks me that he would dare to even think of Resa like this. Sure, the girl's stunning. But her looks could only carry her so far because she is evil. Any other girl and I would be somewhat okay with it. I mean, I can't really picture him with anyone other than Taylor. But they're both deep in denial and aren't willing to talk to one another. It was only a matter of time before they found someone else. I'm pretty sure that Clay and Taylor have something going on...but first, he needs to stop obsessing over me.

"I wasn't talking to you. I wasn't talking to FORREST," I end with a correction. She rolls her blue eyes. I ignore her attitude and focus on Forrest for answers.

He's just staring at me, unsure of what he should say. It's not that hard! Just explain why the hell you were kissing Resa Landing!

"Forrest what's going on here?" I question, becoming more and more infuriated at the fact that he still hasn't talked to me. Only Resa has and I have no interest in what she has to say.

He bashfully reveals , "Well, Resa is my girlfriend."

She protectively puts her hand on his chest and remarks, "And Logan is my boyfriend."

It aggravates me on so many levels how she keeps calling him Logan. But it bothers me more that she is dating my best friend. Literally, I can feel my skin crawling. All the food in my stomach begins to rise and I stop myself from throwing up. If I did, I would throw up all over her.

"How the hell did this happen!" I scream.

Resa begins to speak but I shush her. She reapplies the appalled look on her face. This isn't the first time I told her to shut up. This must be some type of cruel joke. They can't actually be together. Could they?

With no response, I yell, "Forrest is this real? Or is this a one-time thing?"

Forrest exchanges a look with Resa. She signals him to go ahead and reveal everything. He nods and takes a step forward. He comes over to me and finally agrees to tell me. I'm more than nervous for what I'm about to hear.

He shrugs then recounts the tale, not sparing a detail.

Forrest's P.O.V.

Where do I begin? Of course, I remember how Resa and I came to be where we are today. I just never thought it would come to be this serious. Ever since I laid eyes on Taylor, I knew that she was the one for me and I couldn't picture myself with anyone else. But then one day, she dumped me out of the blue and it started to reflect on my emotions.
