chapter 20

(Nick's prov)

I woke up and got my uniform and changed. I missed Judy. I hope i get her back soon. 1 month has passed by and Judy still don't remember anything but I'm not giving up. *sigh* I drove off to work and when I get there I see Judy talking to Billy again. She has been talking to him for the pass month now. I felt worried. they also hang out sometime and that worries me more. What if she likes him more than a friend then that means Billy is winning and I'm going to lose her. I can't let that happen. I saw Judy smile and she waved and Billy was soon gone . Wonderful I thought. Judy than saw me and smiled. She walked over to me.

"Hey! partner." she said happily.

"hey carrot's. how you doing?" i asked.
"great! and you?"

"yea, i'm fine."

"Nick something wrong"

"No i'm fine really i am don't worry carrot's." i said with a smile.

"oh ok then... let's get to work." she said and we headed in. As always clawhouser said hi and we said hi to. we went into our office and we did what we always did. Work. It has been a while now. Judy came to me and asked if i was done with paper work. of course that meant she was done.

"no i'm not." i said as i looked at her.

"oh ok" she said with a smile. i couldn't stop staring at her lips. i really wanted to kiss her but it would be weird because to her i am just a friend right now but to me i believed we were more even though i know that. i turned around to face my paper work.

"i really want to kiss you right now" i mumbled hoping judy didn't hear.

"W-What?!?" she asked in shocked. but she was bushing.

"um i-i nothing i didn't say anything." i said. i guess she did hear after all. she didn't answer after that she just went back to her seat..blushing.
after a few more hours it was time to go. we got our stuff and left.

"hey judy want to hang out?"

"oh nick i would love to but...i have a..um ... a date." she said looking at the ground.

"What?!?!" i asked in shocked.

"look don't be mad we can hang out tomorrow.ok?"

"NO it's not that. who is it with?!?!" i asked.

" oh it's with this rabbit named billy. why?"

"with him?!?"

"you know him?!"

" yea "

"oh, but it's ok with you right?"

"no it's not"

"why nick? why do you care who i go out with? i mean were only friends?" i ignored does questions.
