You texted Eren to meet you in the park. It was a cloudy day, the sky was a dark gray. You walked down a street with the hood of your jacket over your head I hate to do this to him but...it'll be worse for him if I don't you thought as you turn a corner to see Eren standing at the park entrance
He looks side to side as if he was searching for someone. When his eyes land on you he smiles happily and runs up to you as you're about to reach him "baaabe! haha, your finally here!" he says and picks you up while hugging you. You laugh and smile a little as he sets you down but then you remember why you're here and your smile fades
"uh Hey babe what's wrong?" he asks and holds you close "Eren there's something I have to tell you..." you say and look down "what is it?" he asks anxiously "I'm moving to America to live with my mom..." you say sadly "What? But what about your dad? Your friends?...Me?..." he asks as tears brim his eyes "I'm sorry Eren..." you say lowly, trying not to break down "when do you leave?" he asks. You're quiet for a while and Eren places a hand under your chin to make you look up at him
"(name)...when do you leave?" he asks again firmly, trying not to let the tears flow "right now...my dad was putting my stuff in the car to come get me and take me to the airport after saying bye to you..." you reply and look down again "when did you find out you were leaving?" he asks "two.. weeks ago.." You say slowly. Eren's eyes widen then he pulls away from you "what!? Why didn't you tell me sooner!?" he yells as his tears finally run down his face "because I knew this is exactly how you would react!" you say as your tears pour out of your eyes "you still could have told me! I mean America! What the hell (name)! I'm your boyfriend and you didn't think of how I'd feel if you did this!" he yells as more tears fall "I did think of you! You were going through a lot of stuff lately! Especially with your dad leaving all of a sudden, I didn't want to make things worse!" You reply as more tears run down your face "still! Why the hell didn't you tell me! All those days I spent studying with Armin and staying home with Mikasa and My mom I could have been making more memories with you!" he says and it starts to rain "you made me waste those days away!...no the days I spent with you were the days I wasted" he says cruelly.
Your eyes widen and you look at Eren shocked at what he said "w-what?" you ask confused "you said you'd never leave me, you said we would always be together... Well look where the hell we are now! You're leaving and I can't do anything about it! All because you were selfish and didn't want to tell me the truth or spend time with me! Your a dumbass and I hate you!" he yells as he closes his eyes tightly. At that you snapped. Your fists clenched and your heart broke "well don't worry about it anymore Eren, because we're done" you say without emotion "fine.by.me" he says rudely just as your dad pulls up "have a nice life Eren, I know you won't remember I exist after today" you say and get in the passenger seat of your dads car "so how did he take it?" your dad asks "he'll be fine, right now I'm worried about beating this thing" you say and look straight out the front window with determination in your eyes "don't worry kiddo" Your dad begins as he grabs Your hand "I know you'll beat this thing" he finishes with a smile directed towards you "thanks dad" you say and smile yourself
~two and a half weeks after moving in with your mom~
Eren was in his room, laying in his bed. He hadn't left his room since the day you left and he's been checking his phone non-stop to see if you've texted him but there was nothing. As far as I know (name) could be with someone new already Eren thought. That thought made his heart hurt. Suddenly his phone began to vibrate, he checked the screen to see a picture of you and him laughing and the word 'babe' on it. He quickly answered it "hello?" he asked quickly "hello is this Eren? My child's love?" a female voiced asked sadly "yes ma'am, whose this?" he asked "I'm (name)'s mother. She wanted me to tell you something important" your mom says "she loves you and always will no matter where she is" your mom says then hangs up "hello? Hello Ma'am hello?" he questions but she was already gone. That's it I'm gonna go see (name) Eren thought and went to your dads house to ask the address of your mother's house.
After getting the address of your mom's house Your father offered to drive Eren to the airport where he got on a plane and went to America just to find you.

After Eren got off the plane he immediately called a cab and told the driver the address so he could get to your mother's house as soon as possible.
"So kid, where you from?" the driver asked Eren "I'm from Japan" Eren answers lowly as he stares out the window. "Wow Japan, that's a pretty far place from here, why come such a long way son?" the driver questioned "I...I came to find the one I love...they left a few weeks ago and we had an argument before they left and I-" "you want to fix things, right?" the cab driver cuts Eren off.
Eren looks at the driver in the mirror and nods with a small smile gracing his face "well I hope things go well for you two" the driver says as he stops in front of a (f/c) house "here we are, good luck. uhhh?" the driver questions "Eren" Eren answers "Eren, well good luck Eren" the driver says. Eren gets out and the driver is about to drive off "Hey wait! Your money!" Eren says "nah kid it's on the house" the driver says then drives off.
Eren smiles then turns towards the house and starts to walk to the front door. I hope I can makes things right Eren thinks as he knocks on the door 3 times. He waits for someone to answer the door.
Your mother answers the door with a grief stricken face and she looks at Eren with shock and fright. "E-Eren? what are you doing here?" she asks "I want to see (name)" he says. your mother looks down as her eyes start to water "I am sorry Eren, but I'm afraid that isn't possible..." she replies, still looking down at the ground "why? why won't you let me see her?..." Eren asks, losing hope at the thought that you have moved on. "she found someone new didn't she...she loves someone else now right?... well I don't care I still want to see her and make things right!" Eren rambles on about how he wants to see you.
he stopped when he notice the tears collecting together on the ground, he looks at your mother's face to see tears were streaming down her cheeks. "sh-she...she's dead Eren..." she speaks softly.
Eren's eyes widen and his world suddenly shatters. "W-what?" he barely stutters out "she was sick with leukemia...she moved here to spend her remaining time with me since she spent most of her time with her father..." She explains.
Eren's eyes begin to water and just then your Mom went into the house and came back to the door with a letter "she wanted me to give you this when I went to go see her father but since you're here now I'll give it to you" she speaks lowly. "I have to go, I have to meet with people to discuss the funeral arrangements...I'm so sorry eren" She says then locks the house door and leaves in her car.
Eren sits on the steps and opens the letter.
Eren, if you're reading this then that means you have finally found out the truth. I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner but it's not exactly easy to tell the love of your life that you're sick badly and aren't going to make it. Anyway I wanted you to know that I love you and I was thinking of you in my final moments, I love you Eren Jaeger and I'm sorry about the fight we had

Eren sat there with pain, anger and sadness swirling through his body all at the same time. Why!? Why was I so stupid!? I'm an idiot! He continued to get angry with himself until he couldn't think straight anymore from the amount of tears he was crying.
He sat there for hours, thinking of what could've been if he hadn't fought with you.
-Time skip. A few weeks later-
Eren stood next to your mother as raindrops landed on your coffin. Tears streaming down your mother's face as she and some others placed a red rose on your coffin.
When it was Eren's turn he placed a white rose on top of the red ones. It soon came time to lower your coffin into the dark hole that seemed to go on forever.
Eren tried his best to hold back the tears he was trying not to spill so he could be strong for your mother but he couldn't do it.
His tears streamed down his face along with some raindrops. He held back sobs that he desperately wanted to get out as he thought I love you...
At that moment thunder and lightning crashed loudly as if mimicking Eren's emotions.
Reality hit him even harder and he could feel His heart break into a million pieces that he knew can never be put back together...ever...
