Chapter 13: I promise

Your POV:

Zen just called me to meet him at his office, apparently he had something to tell me. When I got there, he sighed and sweat-dropped, after that he said.

-"Good morning (Y/N)... I have to tell you something that you'll probably like, but let me tell yousomething: I DON'T. So don't do anything stupid, got it?

-"Yes, Zen. But what exactly are you going to tell me?"

-"You, will go... You will go on an expedition with Obi to deliver a letter to the Fort Laxdo, it's something we do often here, we send letters to each other and chit-chat like that. And well... Since you and Obi are like, the same cat-like, Aniue thought that it would be faster if -"

-"Izana onii-chan?! Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god!!! Can I see him?! PLeeeeeease Zen! You have to let me see him!!!"

By the time I finished fangirling over Onii-chan,

(A.N: Don't worry girl, I fangirl over Izana all the frikin time... In the opening of 2nd season, my god! I mean when the rythm starts to lift up and they show Izana, gosh... He was so sexy *-* Anyways, remember that Zen and (Y/N) were childhood friends, that's why she calls Izana "Onii-chan" for the ones that don't know, it means big brother. Sooo... It's nothing to do with ecchi lolis or whatsoever)

Zen already backed away and was against the wall holding a rosary he wore to my face and said.

-"Get away you demon!!!"

I smacked him over the head.

-"Look, if you don't want to take me to Onii-chan, I'll find him myself. But, I know that you know that all the guards think I'm stunning, so don't get mad if I come back with fifteen boyfriends..."

-"How did you know that? I promised them to keep it a secret"

-"Remember how they all had a jaw-dropped look when I got to the castle? Well, I kinda pushed them to tell me why, he he..."

-"Anyways, I don't want them to be looking at you, so I'll take you to Aniue. BUT! There is one condition: Walk grabbing my hand, otherwise you'll get lost"

I faked a high-pitched voice.

-"As you say, daddy! -I started jumping up and down faking that I wanted to grab his shoulders- Lift me! Lift me!"

-"Shut up and do as I say, baka"

-"Okay"

I grabbed his hand and started walking with him. I was so excited to see Onii-chan again! He's the coolest guy I ever met, after Zen of course. He's saved me lots of times when Zen was busy and school girls bullied me because I had all the boys to my feet.

-"Zeeeennn! Are we there yeeeet?~"

I asked in a childish tone

-"No... -He sighed- we're almost there, just wait a sec"

I pouted but he ignored me. When we got there, he dropped me and said that when I wanted to go back I needed to call a maid so she could call Zen. I thanked him and entered the room.

-"Onii-chan!!!"

I jumped to his arms and we laughed for a while. After that, he gave me a chocolate cake, wich I accepted without hesitation. But the cake had a little surprise... It had alcohol in it!!! I'm very tolerative with alcohol, but this was strong man... After our meeting, since I was drunk, Onii-chan called Zen himself. When Zen got here, he didn't seem too surprised, I guess he knows that Izana likes to get people to eat and drink strong stuff. He grabbed my hand and we went to my room. He closed the door, and after that I don't remember anything else.

Zen's POV:

(Y/N) was dead drunk, so I put her on the bed and told her.

-"Good night sleeping beauty"

After that, I planted a kiss on her forehead and leaved. Out of the room, Obi was waiting for me, so I had something to tell him about the expedition that he'll make with (Y/N).

-"Hey Obi, promise me something... Promise me that you'll bring (Y/N) back exactly as you took her"

-"I promise, Master"

He posititioned to jump but I stopped him before he did so.

-"Oh, and Obi! That goes for you too. Good night"

After saying that, I went to my room,layed on my bed, and fell asleep thinking about (Y/N)'s sleeping face.

Talk about irony, huh?
