Chuck had been out doing whatever Chuck Bass does lately. Mostly trying to figure out what he wanted to do more with his fathers company, Bass Industries. He had gotten back to his suite and checked the mail on the way up. "That's strange?", Chuck thought to himself. "Why is there a letter from Jenny Humphrey?". He decided to take a look. It wouldn't hurt anything. He already told her how he felt about the baby. But something struck his heart line when he saw the picture of the ultrasound. It's like Chuck Bass started to feel again. And that's weird because he only felt that way with Blair.
"Dear Chuck,". The letter read. He read the letter to himself. "How could I have been so cruel to her, after all it is my child!. My father was the same way to me. He never cared!. I'm trying to change into this better man. I need to be there for her". He said. Chuck then went to find a piece of paper and a pen and write Jenny back.
"Dear Jennifer,". The letter began.
"I'm so sorry for the way I have treated you and this child, I will try to be there for you. Even though I don't know how. I've never raised a child before. My father was never there for me and I want to change this for the child you're carrying. I know I signed my rights, Jenny. But if you'll let me I'd like to be involved. It's time I own up to my past and my mistakes. You're right about one thing. I'm Chuck Bass, but I'm changing. That's where you were wrong. I hope you'll let me involved for you too". He ended the letter.
"Truly sorry,
Chuck Bass".
He then sealed up the letter and went back downstairs and dropped it outside in the mailbox. Chuck knew she was right. He just need to admit it to his self. He could possibly lose Blair but he needed to own up and be there for this child. He didn't want the child to not have a father. Chuck never knew his mother and he father wasn't a good father.
