You didn't wanted to go to the Rovers game. "Well, what are you going to do today?" Louis had asked as he gathered his things, ready to leave the house. "I think Liam and I are going to go out," you answer and Louis nods. "Well, you kids have fun. I'll be back tonight." He bends down over the couch to press a kiss to your lips before walking out the door. You could remember a time not too long ago when telling him you were spending time with Liam went not as smoothly. Yes, you had known Liam a lot longer than him, but no, he didn't care about that. It had taken a lot of convincing on your behalf over the course of your relationship to prove to him that nothing was ever going to happen between you and Liam; you were just friends. You had always just been friends. You remain on the couch for a little while longer, texting Liam to make sure nothing had come up and that you were still going out. After his confirmation, you head up to the bedroom to get ready. You were going out for lunch and you were sure a movie would follow, that's how it usually went at least. After your hair and makeup were complete you walk into the closet to find your outfit for the day. Deciding on black skinnies, tank top, and flannel you take a look in the mirror before slipping your boots on and heading back downstairs. You text to let him know you were on your way over to his flat and pull out of the driveway. You are greeted at his door by his arms wrapping around your neck. "Get off!" You choke as he squeezes you tighter. "What? I can't hug my best friend?" You roll your eyes as he finally lets go. "Where are we going today?" You ask as he grabs his keys and you follow him back through the corridor you had just walked down. "Petrus," he answers. Wow, okay big spender. "Really?" You question. Sure you didn't mind the French cuisine, or his expense taste, but it was little ritzy for just an afternoon lunch. "Nah, I was thinking the Watermill." Much better. "Okay, good." You climb into his car once you reach the parking garage. You catch up on the drive to lunch. He spoke of the tour, and you of your final semester of classes. "After you," he offers, holding the door open for you to walk in before him. "How many?" The hostess asks. You hated this question. There were only two of you standing in the foyer, couldn't she count? "Two," you tell her and she looks at you and then over to Liam, casual suspicion in her eyes. You got this a lot when you came out with him. The fans had gotten used to seeing the two of you out together, but everyone else, who only knew you were definitely not with Liam, still gave you the look. You ignored her facial expressions and turned back to Liam as she begins to escort you to your table. "Thank you," he says as you take your seat across from him. "No problem," she replies with a shy smile. Unbelievable. "How come I get the bitch face and you get innocent one?" You were used to it though. "My face looks better than yours," he teases. Your eyes widen, reaching over to smack him with the menu you had been given. "Hateful bastard." He shrugs with a smile. "What are you going to get?" He asks once the two of you had fallen silent overlooking your options. "I'm thinking about the pork with the onions and potatoes," you answer, not fully having made your mind. "What about you?" "The beef, definitely, but that's as far as I've gotten." "Indecisive as always," you remark playfully. "Hey, don't even act like you're actually going to get what you just said, you're more indecisive than me." He knows you so well; he always has.
