Chapter 3 Finding Mates

Emily's P.O.V

I walked down the hallway heading to my locker, wondering if I should paint a hummingbird or elephant for my art project (fun fact Emily loves art in real life and is very good at it! Also you can see one of her paintings at the top) I had just arrived at my locker and got out my books for the rest of the day.
I turned around to see Nathan I sigh at his name, he has darkish brown hair and bluish greyish eyes. He's pretty athletic and currently single since he broke up with his girlfriend about a month ago and I'm in like with him. (Another fun fact, our French teacher always tells us that you can't be in love with someone until your an adult, therefore you can only be "in like" with someone) On his way past me he bumped into me sending sparks flying through my body, and at that moment I knew. Nathan was my mate! He immediately turned around smiled and said "will you be my mate?" "Yes!" I said a little too enthusiastically. "I gotta go, but here's my number" he said handing me a piece of paper with his number scribbled on it. I ran into the girls bathroom and started doing a happy dance. After I got my excitement out I mind linked Quinn to tell her the good news.

Q= Quinn and E= Emily
E- guess what!
Q- what? is something wrong?
E- no! Everything's perfect.
Q- let me guess you found your mate.
E- yes! How did you know?
Q- I was just kidding, but this is awesome! Who's your mate?
E- Nathan! And he gave me his number!
Q- congrats Em!
E- thanks!
Q- tonight I'm taking you out to celebrate!
E- okay, bye.
Q- bye.

Sasha's Short P.O.V

I'm just so annoyed right now I mean, why do they have to act like this? I mean how bad can what they wanna tell me be? I've decided to ignore them for a bit to let myself cool down.

Quinn's P.O.V

I walked out of the bathroom deciding to go look for the new boy because I heard that he is a werewolf. I walked down the hall scrolling through my Twitter feed on my phone and ran smack into the new boy, but the strange thing is, he looks... Very... VERY familiar and then it hit me like a ton of bricks. The new kid is Ross... House_Owner.... Like my favourite YouTuber. "Sorry about that, I'm Quinn" I said very awkwardly, trying not to fangirl. "Hi Quinn, I'm Ross an-" "I KNOW!" Shit. I sound weird now. "Uhhhh.... Like I watch your videos on YouTube...." I said even more awkwardly. He laughed. Wait. Is he laughing at me? Did I just screw up?  CRAP. "Well.... I gotta go..." I said. I just kept my head down and ran. I just blew it with the guy that I've always liked. I just ran into the bathroom to mind link Emily.

Q- EMILY IM SO STUPID
E- Why?! What happened?!
Q- THE NEW KID IS ROSS. LIKE MY FAVOURITE YOUTUBER ROSS. AND I DID THE WORST FIRST IMPRESSION.
E- really? Omg. What happened?
Q- Ill tell you later, I gotta go but meet me here after school so we can talk :3
E- okay bye
