Being an Avenger

The Start

Was my real dad here in Sokovia? It's been a few days ever since the whole weird energy thing and the message I got. All of us were now in Sokovia at a Hydra Base. Steve had told me to be careful. Explosions erupted in my ears making me come back to the real world. I looked around my surroundings. Explosions made the ground rumble and shake. I stood on the back of the vehicle Clint and Mom were on. I used my fire powers to explode Hydra vehicles. Clint shot his arrows as Natasha drove. Tony flew past as some Hydra drones flew towards the vehicle. I quickly grabbed one by the neck and froze the drone. Clint let out a laugh as I continued to burn and freeze the drones. I turned and saw a vehicle aim it's weapon at us. Thor jumped down and killed the shooter.
"Thank you" I breathed out before making the vehicle explode. Steve made his way towards a few Hydra guards. When he was close enough I jumped onto the back of his motorcycle. I used my element of earth and made vines come up from the ground.
"Hello" I said taking down a few drones by making the vines wrap around their legs and pull them to the trees. Steve grabbed a Hydra agent by the foot and dragged him across the ground. The then tosses him across the forest. He tossed his shield at a few soldiers. Thor destroyed a tank and The Hulk lifted the tank and threw it. We drove towards a cliff and all at the same time we went forward. I stood on the back of Steve's motorcycle. It was as if time slowed down. Then it sped up and we landed on the ground. I used my fire to take down more drones.
"Shit!" Tony yelled making me laugh.
"Language!" Steve said making me laugh even more.
"JARIVS what's the view from upstairs?" I asked ready to jump off of Steve's motorcycle.
"The central building is protected by some kind of energy shield. Strucker's technology is well beyond any other Hydra base we've taken" JARVIS said into my ear piece. I heard Thor grunting on the other end.
"Loki's scepter must be here. Strucker couldn't mount his defenses without it. At long last" Thor said as I jumped off Steve's motorcycle and onto the cold snow.
" 'At long last' is lasting a little long boys" Mom said.
"Yeah, I think we lost the element of surprise" Clint said making me smile as a few soldiers came towards me. In matter of seconds they were either frozen, blown away by the wind, burnt into ashes, or hanging from the trees.
"Wait a second. No ones gonna deal with the fact Cap just said 'language'?" Tony asked as I took down several drones.
"I know" Steve said as I saw him flip off his motorcycle and grab it then tossed it into a on coming vehicle. Steve sighs as I join him at his side, "just slipped out."
"Sure it did Steve" I said smiling and he pushed me playfully. I ran off toward a few soldiers. I set a bolt of electricity through the soldiers, shocking them. I lit some on fire. Or froze them. I turned and saw Clint. Someone or something zoomed past Clint like the speed of lightning. I walked out from my spot only to be knocked off my feet by the speeding figure. I stared at the figure who slowed down. He had silver blonde hair and pale features. A smile etched across his lips as he sped towards Clint. When Clint was distracted he was hit.
"Clint!" I yelled as me and mom rushed towards him. Soldiers continued to shoot so threw some fire balls at them setting them aflame or freeze them.
"We have an enhanced in the field" Steve said.
"Clint's hit" mom said as we rushed towards Clint who laid on the cold snow.
"Somebody wanna deal with that bunker?!" I yelled as my mom bent down to Clint looking at his wound. The Hulk jumped out of nowhere smashing the bunker.
"Thank you" Mom said as Clint groaned loudly from the pain. I had to deal with the advancing soldiers.
"I'll be back" I said running towards the group. Natasha nodded to me before I rushed away. I jumped onto a soldier and wrapped my legs around their neck bringing them to the ground. A put my hands on their neck and used my fire to slowly and painfully kill them. I stood up and threw a knife at on of the soldiers then I ran towards another. I kicked the soldier in the gut then grabbed his wrist and lit my hand on fire making his wrist turn a crisp color. He screamed in pain and as I grabbed his shoulder and did the same. Soon I decided to end the suffering and stabbed him in the stomach making him fall to the white snow. So my fire was my favorite.
"The drawbridge is down, people" Tony said as I took out the last soldier. I saw Steve and Thor over by a few trees. I made my way towards the god and the super soldier.
"The Enhanced?" Me and Thor asked.
"He's a blur" Steve said, "all the new players we've faced, I've never seen this. In fact, I still haven't."
"Clint's hit pretty bad guys. We're gonna need a evac" Mom said.
"I can get Barton to the jet" Thor said as tanks and soldiers came towards us.
"The sooner we're gone, the better" I said.
"You and Stark secure the scepter" Thor said.
"Copy that" Steve said.
"Looks like they're lining up" Thor said as we stared at the on coming soldiers.
"Well they're excited" Steve said as I lit Steve's shield on fire and Thor clinked his hammer onto the shield causing the ground to rumble and the soldiers fell down to the ground from the impact. And the tank exploded.
"Find the scepter" Thor said as he started to walk away, Steve nodded to Thor.
"And for gosh sake, watch your language!" Stark said sarcastically. I couldn't help but laugh.
"That's not going away anytime soon" Steve said.
"So what do you want me to do?" I asked.
"Take down any Hydra soldiers you see on your way back to the jet. I want you back there and safe. If you run into your dad or brother. Don't be afraid to light 'em up" Steve said walking away.
"Roger that" I said then Steve sneezed, "God Bless America!"
"Really Lillybug?!" Steve asked.
"Really!" I yelled as I ran off in a different direction. My breathing was heavy. I hid behind a tree and clenched my fist. I looked ahead to see a familiar face standing at a broken bunker with a gun. I ran towards the man and wrapped vines around his arms and legs.
"Willow!" Cade said with a smile, "glad to see you again."
"Likewise" I said crossing my arms over my chest.
"Do you really want to cause harm to your brother?" He asked, "especially when your father is right behind you." I spun around to see a man. He had dark hair and greenish blue eyes. He was tall and muscular.
"Princess?" He asked in disbelief as I tightened the vines around Cade.
"Don't call me that" I said staring at him.
"After all I've done for you?" He asked getting closer.
"You haven't done crap!" I hissed.
"Me and your mother gave you life" he said.
"You're not my family" I said.
"Your real family" he said.
"I have a family" I hissed staring at him.
"Oh Willow. You're just like your mother" he said with a chuckle as he walked closer looking like he was determined to get me back.
"No. My mother is Natasha Romanoff. And The Avengers are my family" I said as I used my wind to send him flying into a tree. I looked over at Cade, "when he wakes up tell him to leave me alone. I don't want to be near you guys. You may be my biological family but I don't even know you."
I let him out of the vines before I took off running in the other direction toward the jet as fast as I could. Thor and Clint should already be on the jet waiting for me. I hurried toward the jet seeing not too far away. I made it to the jet and Thor pulled me into the warm jet. My breathing was heavy from running. I walked over to Clint to see if he was okay.
"Hey Lillybug" Clint said touching my arm gently for comfort.
"I ran into my dad and brother" I said.
"Don't let them bug you, Lillian" Clint said smiling.
"Oh I handled them pretty well" I said as Thor brought over a pair of sweatpants and a sweatshirt for me. I changed into the outfit and decided to get comfortable in a seat. I laid in the seat trying to get sleep. I needed sleep. I've been having nightmares lately every night. Mom wasn't at the tower so Steve would be there to comfort me. Well him and sometimes Bruce. I'm just as surprised as everyone else. Bruce didn't have the temperament but he would always lay with me until I would fall asleep again. But if he was busy in the lab it would be Steve who would be laying with me. Mom and Clint were doing missions.
"Thor, report on the Hulk" Mom said bringing me back to reality. When did the others get onto the jet. I guess I was too deep in thought that I didn't notice.
"The gates of Hel are filled with the screams of his victims!" Thor said and I covered my mouth to keep myself from laughing as my mother glares at him while Bruce groans and puts his head in his hands, "But not the screams of the dead, of course. No, no... wounded screams... mainly whimpering, a great deal of complaining and tales of sprained deltoids and... gout." Well explained Thor, well explained.
"Hey, Banner Dr Cho is on her way in from Seoul. Is it okay if she sets up in your lab?" Tony asked.
"Uh, yeah, she knows her way around" Bruce said, Tony told JARIVS to take the wheel and he made his way over to the scepter. I got up and walked over to the scepter with them. The blue gem glowing. It reminded me too much about Loki.
"Feels good, yeah? I mean, you've been after this thing since SHIELD collapsed. Not that I've enjoyed our little raiding parties, but..." Tony started.
"No, but this.... This brings it to a close" Thor said.
"As soon as we find out what else this has been used for. I don't mean just weapons. Since when is Strucker capable of Human Enhancement?" Steve asked.
"Banner and I will give it a once over before it goes back to Asgard. Is that cool with you?" Tony asked Thor, "just a few days till the farewell party. You're staying, right?"
"Yes, yes of course. A victory should be honored with revels" Thor said.
"Yeah, who doesn't love revels? Captain? White Star?" Tony asked.
"Hopefully this puts an end to the Chitauri and Hydra. So, yes, revels" Steve said.
"Sounds like a lot of fun" I said smiling at the three men. Soon we arrived in New York. I looked out the window as we landed at Avengers Tower. A smile crept up to my lips as I looked out over New York. Truly beautiful. I've always loved New York. Me and Steve went on walks around Central Park a lot. The two of us did stuff together that mom would probably never do with me. We explored the Big Apple with each other all the time. I had so much fun with Steve. He's like a dad now to me.
Once the jet landed the back opened up and they rushed Clint out of the jet with my mother following behind them as fast as possible. I decided to go in with Thor since I knew Steve would be on the jet a little longer. I walked beside Thor with a small smile on my young face.
"Lady Lillian, is there something bothering you?" Thor asked.
"Kind of" I said.
"Would you like to speak about it?" He asked giving me a small smile.
"I'm not sure. You'd probably fall asleep" I said as I opened the door for the God of Thunder. He thanked me before heading inside with me behind him.
"I wouldn't fall asleep, Young One" he said. He always called me that. Sometimes the nicknames he gave me were really nice. Like: Little One, or Flower.
"Promise?" I asked as I opened the lab door for him so he could put the scepter inside.
"I promise, Lady Lilly" he said.
"Fine. I feel like me and my mother are growing distant" I confessed as me and Thor exited the lab and continued to walk down the hallway.
"That happens sometimes. But I know that Lady Natasha loves you so much with all her heart no matter what" he said placing a hand on my shoulder.
"Thank you, Thor" I said. Who knew that this Goofball God would give such great advice.
"Anything for you, Flower. If you need anyone to talk to you know where to find me" he said before walking away from me and down the hallway. I stood there in thought before Tony and Bruce's voices broke into my thoughts. I speed walked away from the lab just in case because Tony hates it when I mess with his stuff in the lab. I walked toward my bedroom with a small smile. I closed the door and headed to the bathroom to get a shower.
After my shower I wrapped a towel around myself and walked over to my closet. I changed into a pair of pjs before plopping down on my bed. I looked around my bedroom for something to do. I walked over to my desk and looked up a thing called Wattpad. I wondered what it was so I created a account. I found things called Fan fiction about the other Avengers. It interested me so I began to read the fan fiction. I had no idea what I was getting myself into.
About five hours later I was still on my computer reading these stories. I'm now obsessed. I had read too many stories. Who knew that some people shipped Steve and my mother. Romanrogers. And they also shipped Clint and my mom. I guess they don't know that he is already married and has children. But I kind of ship them too. I saw the one thing that I wish I could wipe from my memory. Stony. Why is that even a thing?! I ship Science Bros but Stony? Really?! I also ship Steggy. But I read one Stony thing and I wish those imagines that appeared in my mind would go away. After I finally decided to close my computer I walked over to my bed and tried to get some sleep. Stupid nightmares plagued my peaceful sleep.

The door opened and I fell back landing at Loki's feet. I let out a yell and kicked him where it hurts yet he didn't seemed to feel anything. He grabbed my arm harshly and picked me up. We walked out onto the platform and Thor showed up.
"I'll drop her" Loki said holding me over the edge. I let out a scream.
"Let her go" Thor said.
"As you wish brother" Loki said dropping me. Careful with your words Thor! I fell quickly. I let out a loud scream. I was met with shining red and gold metal.
"TONY!" I said smiling as he flew me down to where my parents were. My mom saw me and ran towards me at full speed.
"LILLY!" Mom yelled scooping me up in a large hug.
"I'm sorry! I shouldn't have went with him" I said crying.
