This is just a little something because I didn't update like I usually do today. Nothing serious happens here, just showing you how things played out and If you thought the story was going to end here, you're very wrong.

4 months later .
"and what did daddy say ?" I said while leaning down to give her a kiss. "No?" She said while grabbing a cherrio. "He said no to the birthday girl?" I said shaking my head dramatically. "Well mommy's going to have a few choice words for daddy when he gets home." I said while taking one of her Cheerios. "Juice!" She yelled while pointing at it on the counter.
"It's juice please, Amelia." I said grabbing her cup off the table and handing it to her.
Today was a simple day, nothing big..nothing spontaneous. We were going to have a dinner as a family and you know just make her first birthday special. After she got done eating breakfast I cleaned her up and took her upstairs for her bath. I dressed her up and sat her in my lap, and examined her curly light brown hair.
"Oh my gosh, what kind of hair do you have?" I said while trying to tie it with bows. "That should hold for today." I said looking at the small bun I'd managed to make on top of her head.
I heard the front door shut and picked Amelia up and carried her downstairs. "There's my birthday girl." Nicholas said when we walked into the kitchen. "Do you realize how hard it is to maintain your daughters hair?" I said while sitting her in her high chair again.
"Well, if you didn't notice darling; I'm white." He said pulling at the ends of his hair. "So I don't really understand." He said while smiling and grabbing my waist. "I missed you today." He whispered while pulling me closer. "You were gone for like an hour." I said pulling away. "An hour too long." Nicholas said before pulling a chair in front of Amelia.
"What are you laughing over here about?" He said to Amelia. "One." She said before giggling. "What?" He said turning towards me confused. "She's trying to tell you that she's one years old." I said smiling, I taught her that word yesterday.
"Oh really? I didn't know that." Nicholas said playing dumb. "Oh wait, what's that behind your ear butterfly?" he said while reaching behind her. "That's where my quarters have been going." He joked while pulling a quarter back.
He's done that joke a million times to her and she always has the same reaction. Giggles. "Did you tell my daughter she couldn't have juice?" I said gaining his attention. "I sure did." He said while walking to the sink and turning the faucet on to wash his hands. "Why?" I asked turning off the faucet. "Because I'm daddy and I said so." He said while laughing.
"Well we'll see where that gets you tonight." I mumbled. Right on the damn couch.
