The first time James met Lily's father after a while they went fishing. Lily's father was rather surprised at how James caught so many fish and Vernon hadn't caught one even with all the experience. Then later on James asked Lily,
"Promise you won't tell?" Lily rolled her eyes.
"No idiot."
"When they looked away I summoned it. With my wand."
Lily and James laughed so hard it brought tears to their eyes.
