ETERNAL (NATHANIEL BUZOLIC FANFIC)

CH: 7

~~LILY~~

It has been almost two weeks since Nathaniel and I decided to become a couple, it has been perfect with each other and he is amazing. Today was the day that Nathaniel wanted to make me dinner at his place, he has spent a lot of time at mine that I should see his. I made my way up Nathaniel's driveway and got to the front door, I closed my hand into a fist and knocked on it. I adjusted my necklace on my neck when the door opened and a thin man with stubble standing in the doorway. 

"Hello love, are you the lovely girl who has captured Nate's heart?" he asked I could hear his British accent under each word that escaped his lips.

"That would be me, I'm Lily Ruzic...you must be Nate's roommate and co star?" I exclaimed remembering Nathaniel told me about living with his co star while they were filming the Vampire Diaries.

"Nice to meet you Lily, I'm Joseph Morgan and I play Nathaniel's older brother Niklaus on the Vampire Diaries." he smiled taking my hand into his and shaking it respectively and we pulled away a few moments afterwards. "Please come in, Nate is just finishing in the bathroom..." I moved into the house until I saw Nate on the top of the steps, his smile appeared onto his face and he moved down the stairs.

"Hello Tiger Lily..." he grinned Nate's pet name to me, he loved Peter Pan and I became his Tiger Lily  which was a cute nickname for us. He kissed my cheek and he wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me into a big hug. I could smell his cologne filling my nose, the scent would drive any girl wild and I buried my nose into his shoulder. 

"Well I will leave you lovebirds to it, I'm going to go finish filming my final scenes of the season. It was nice meeting you Lily." Joseph coughed trying to get our attention, I looked at him watching him leave the apartment. Nate took my hand leading me to the kitchen, I sat on the stool he pulled out for me and I could see the wide spread of ingredients around.

"So what meal are you preparing for us tonight?" I asked placing my fingers against my jawline and I watched him pull a knife from the rack then faced me. 

"It's a spiced Sirloin roast with roasted potatoes and green beans." he smiled as he started to cut the potatoes that he washed earlier in chip like form.

"Sounds delicious...do you need any help?" I offered he looked up at me placing the knife down onto the cutting board moving over to the cabinet and took two wine glasses from the top shelf. He placed them in front of me and I watched him pull a bottle from the counter, it was a wine bottle. He popped it open and began to pour the ruby color liquid into the glasses for the two of us.

"Here drink this and let the master cook for you for once. I actually wanted to ask you something while you are here." he answered I took the glass taking a small sip of the wine, it was very sweet against the tip of my tongue.

"Cabernet Sauvignon nice choice...what did you want to ask me?" I smiled sipping the wine again placing it onto the counter and after Nate took his sip of the wine he resumed slicing the potatoes in thin slices.

"Well as you know I'm from Australia, I have family there and since I'm on break from Vampire Diaries I thought to go home to see them." he started I felt my fingers trace against the wine glass and he looked up at me with his dark eyes. "I wanted to know if you would want to come with me? I know it may be early to meet the family but I think it would be great for us." I took another sip of the wine and kept my eyes locked onto Nate's then swallowed a bit to fast forcing me to cough hard.

"Wow...I never had a guy want me to meet his family or even his homeland after only dating a few weeks. Are you sure?" I asked seeing him chopping a bit quicker then glanced up at me his lips formed a smile at me.

"Of course...besides you told me yourself that you wanted to travel and paint famous buildings? You can paint the Sydney Opera house if you want?" he smiled when I heard him grunt and wince back from the knife when I looked I saw some blood on the cutting board. I saw a small slice on his thumb and I turned my head away from him trying to catch my breath. I felt my breaths get very heavy and everything inside me pound louder in my head. "Shit...Lil I'm sorry about that. I didn't see the blade when I pressed down." 

"It's fine...it just caught me off guard. Is it bad?" I gasped feeling my salvia start to build in my mouth, my teeth began to ache and my throat was burning now. 

"I won't need stitches..." he answered I could hear him coming slowly behind me and I could feel myself slowly losing control with the smell getting stronger. I closed my eyes tightly trying to concentrate and I felt his hand touch my shoulder now. "Lil? Are you okay?" 

"I'm fine..." I groaned biting down on my tongue not wanting to speak because it was making it harder for me. I could sense Nate was now in front of me, the smell was now impossible to resist anymore and I had to get out of here. Without any warning I felt myself flash open my eyes and my fangs were baring at Nate as I used my strength to pin him to the wall. I saw the fear in his eyes and I knew he saw the monster I was now, I dropped him moving away from him fast. I got to the front door turning back to see Nate wide eyed and afraid of me now. "I'm sorry..." I knew I couldn't stay here, I was breathing heavily my teeth were aching more now. I pushed open the door and ran out without another word.
