Ghost Hunt Fanfic ●ᴥ● [Finished]

Kiss...

I tumbled back and fell on my butt. A small puddle of blood was right in front of me and I saw Naru, Lin, Bou-san and John frozen. Their eyes were completely opened, they were shaking. I got up steadily and walked towards the door.

I walked in but it was like they didn't even notice me. I walked towards them and waved my hand in front of their faces but no budge.  "Sorry about this you guys". I mumbled.

I raised my hand and slapped all of them across the face. Soon they started to move and I walked back to the room, heading back to the door.

Once I got to the hallway again I watched them walked around and headed back to what they were doing. John and Bou-san were out of it, though Naru and Lin were trying to think of something.

"Achoo~!". I heard someone sneeze. I looked over to Naru and he was leaning on the chair rubbing his nose. (Did I give him my cold?! Oh no...)

Naru began to cough a bit and Lin began to take his aid. He rested Naru on the couch and placed his jacket on top of him. "I'm fine-". Naru began to say. "No, you are sick. You must've gotten Mai's cold". Lin said coldly.

I small cough escaped from me, sadly they noticed and Bou-san and John came my way. I ran to the closest door and hid behind it. I was to afraid of them that they will notice me...Just a bit longer. I'm afraid they're going to get mad at me for leaving the hospital, and running all the way here...My head began to swirl, and my stomach began to hurt. 

Then I heard a bang. I heard shouting. It was Lin's voice, his voice was towering over Bou-san's. I walked out of the room and went back. They were arguing but it was stupid. I noticed Naru was collapsed on the couch.

*Thump...Thump...Thump...* The sound of feet walking towards me.

I looked both ways and no one was there, I had to go inside. I must take the chance on getting yelled at by them...I took a deep breath and charged right in.

"Would you two stop fighting!". I shouted. John, Bou-san and Lin turned towards me in a shock look. I began to cough again. "Mai!". They finally said. I glared at them, then I walked towards Naru.

 "Why were you guys fighting?!" I snapped as I stared at Naru. They didn't respond. I took my hand and pushed his hair away from his face. I calmly stroke his hair, though inside I blame myself for getting him sick. "If your not going to answer me fine. Also, do you know what happened to Ayako and Masako? They suddenly vanished right?".

"The spirit or whoever is the culprit took Masako and Ayako away, but not us.". Bou-san said.

"We're going to go investigate then...Mai, you should come-". Lin began to speak. 

"No, i'm not going. I'm staying with Naru, just in case something happens....". I mumbled. They nodded and left.

"M....Mai....Where are you?". I heard Naru softly say. Naru began to smile so kindly. "I....love you Mai.......You're mine.....and mine alone...". I felt my face turn hot by the passing second. A tear fell from my cheek, and I whispered to Naru "I love you too...My narcissistic tea drinking jerk". I giggled. I hugged Naru tightly, then as when I thought this happy moment wouldn't end, I heard a grunting like noise. I got up quickly, and Naru's eyes were looking straight into mine. 

"Mai...How long were you here?". He asked as he got up. I turned my face away, trying not to expose my tomato red face. I began to giggle and Naru just stared at me. I patted him on the shoulder. "At least your okay now!" I smiled. "How did you get here?". He asked again.

"I....er...well ran..Te-hee..".

"You what?!". Naru bolted up and grabbed my shoulders. "Why would you do that?!".

"I was worried! I quickly got out of the hospital cause I was afraid you would get hurt!". I cried. Naru's face turned into a light pink and he yanked me closer to him. "If anything were to happen to you, so help me Mai...". He shouted.

Then...without any reaction, Naru pressed his lips against mine. He began to pull me closer and started to stroke my hair. I felt all his emotions...In this one kiss. Anger, sadness, failure...All there. I wrapped my arms around Naru and a tear fell from my cheek.

(Naru...I'm so sorry)

I tried to gasp for air, but he wouldn't let me go... I started to grip onto his clothes, seeing if he can stop. Luckily he did. "Sorry". Naru said. I began to blush more and then what a surprise! Lin, Bou-san and John are back. I turned away, and placed my hand on my mouth.

"Naru ey! Your awake!". John cheered. 

Lin looked at Naru, then to me. He sighed and shook his head smiling and walk to the monitors. "Well for all we know, is now our little demon doesn't like to play games...". Bou-san said in thought.

Right when Bou-san said that, I felt some sort of force inside of me. A vision appeared right before my eyes. It showed Masako and Ayako in the basement unconscious. Blood all over the walls and furniture...They were all right though! I felt myself running towards them but something was pulling me away. Right when I got to them, a horrifying face appeared right in front of me. Then I was now back in reality.

I collapsed to the ground scared. "Mai are you okay?". John asked.

"There in the basement....Unconscious...Blood everywhere!". I shouted. "There fine but...not for long! We need to save them!".
