3 Days Later...Almeta jolted awake as her dream echoed through her thoughts. She steadied her breathing before pulling on her robes, and running to the main floor.
Obi-Wan paced back and forth, looking as if he was nervous too.
"Master Obi-Wan!" She shouted. His widened, alert eyes met Almeta's. "Please tell me you've heard from Anakin."
She swallowed. "No, but something is wrong, Master. . . He's somewhere dark, and he's in pain. Someone is hurting him physically."
He gritted his teeth, clenching his fists. "He's in General's ship."
"How do you know?"
"You said it was dark." He grinned. "I know where he is now, stay here."
"What? No way!" She shouted.
"Almeta, you stand no chance to face General Grievous.""I don't care, Master. Anakin is in danger, and I'm going to find him."
He sighed. "Alright, lets go."
-
Almeta found herself closing her eyes as they drew closer to General Grievous' ship. She inhaled before trying to trace Anakin's thoughts again. Her heart pounded in her chest as she seen General Grievous. He was tormenting Anakin, and she knew they had to hurry.
Hold on, Ani. We're coming, I love you. She said in her head.
"We're coming in." Obi-Wan told her.
She sighed. "There's droids swarming the area."
He grinned. "Then we'll be making a stop."Heading off of the ship, Almeta lifted her lightsaber before running towards the droids, blocking every shot.
Destroying everyone, she hurried towards the elevator with Obi-Wan.
"Wait for commands, Artoo." Obi-Wan demanded.R2 beeped before staying put, and she rubbed his metal head. "We won't be long."
Stepping into the elevator, she took a deep breath.
"He's somewhere, I can feel him." Almeta breathed out.
-As the elevator doors opened, Obi-Wan and Almeta stood grounded as they came face to face with several droids, and Droideka's.
"Hands up, Jedi." One shouted.
Almeta looked at Obi-Wan."Plan B?"
In a quick movement, the two moved until their backs were together, dragging their lightsabers across the ground around to form a circular motion.
As they dropped, they landed in a large area of water. After reaching surface, Almeta pushed her wet hair out of her face and followed Obi-Wan.
"We're safe for now." He said, climbing a ladder."Déjà vu, right?" She asked, smiling widely.
"You can say that again."They pushed open a metal door, and slid out until they dropped to the ground.
"He's in that room."
Almeta ran down the long corridor, and pushed open the large door.
Looking around, she found herself shivering as she stepped into the cold room.
She could feel Anakin's presence as she stepped towards a still figure.
"Ani?" She whispered.
"Just in time." He breathed.Almeta chuckled shakily before looking over at Obi-Wan. "Hit the lights, I can't see a thing."
As the room lit up, she examined Anakin's face."Good, you're in one piece."
She broke off the chains that were cuffed around his wrists. He grabbed her face. "Why are you wet?"
She laughed. "We ran into a bit of company and went with plan B."He grinned. "You're unbelievable."
After freeing Anakin, he retrieved his lightsaber. They were about to move along until the familiar, caped figure stood in the doorway.
"Darth Sidious." Obi-Wan said.Anakin grabbed Almeta's forearm, pulling her behind him. She could sense a wave of protection radiating off of him as the lean figured let out a deep laugh.
"The Death Star will forever stand, Obi-Wan Kenobi."
Anakin clenched his jaw."As long as the Jedi are too, Sidious."
"You won't win this time." Anakin snapped, tightening his grip on the light saber.
"Anakin, don't." She whispered."A young Padawan. Just like you when you were so close to joining the Empire, Anakin Skywalker."
"You used me." Anakin growled. "It won't happen again, I belong with the Jedi."
The yellow eyes of the Sith Lord landed on Almeta, and she swallowed the forming lump away in her throat."The Force is strong with you." He said to me, sending chills up her spine.
"Enough!" Obi-Wan shouted, his voice echoing. The girl jumped slightly, feeling Anakin grab her hand."It's now or never, Sidious."
Obi-Wan's light appeared, the heat shining off of his wet skin."We do this together." Anakin told Obi-Wan. "Like we should have all of those years ago."
Anakin squeezed Almeta's hand before letting go; allowing her to pick up her lightsaber. She watched as they began to circle the Lord, and she followed.
"Three on one, Jedi always play dirty." He growled.
It was in a matter of time before Sidious sent electricity bolts in Almeta's direction, sending her to fly and hit the wall. She fell to the ground with a quick gasp for air.
"Now, Anakin!" Obi-Wan shouted.
She peeked up and watched as they attacked The Sith Lord. She gathered her breath before staggering to her feet. She ran towards the scene, and over a platform. Her lightsaber clashed with the Sith's, Anakin and Obi-Wan at her defense.
Her heart raced as Obi-Wan was sent flying across the room, and Anakin blocked his hit, taking every inch of power in Anakin.
Almeta allowed the Force to flow through her body like water flowing through a steam. She flipped into the air, landing on the Sith's shoulders. He growled in response, and pushed her off.
As she stood to her feet, he was already running towards the broken window. Almeta sprung to grab him, but he was gone.
