Hyurin POV

"So, Mingyu, what are your plans for after high school?" I asked him.

I took a piece of popcorn out of the bowl and threw it at him.

He opened his mouth and the piece of popcorn landed right between his lips, "Good catch." Mingyu smiled.

"I plan to marry the girl of my dreams," he told me.

I shook my head.

"I mean, what kind of job do you want?" Mingyu only laughed.

"I haven't quite figured that out yet." I just nodded my head.

"Your turn. Ok, so, serious question time... Do you know that road that takes you to our school? It's called Ttukseom I think,"

"Yeah, I know what you're talking about. The road along the forest right?"

"Yeah um... that one. I want to show you something there, but you need to promise that you won't tell anyone," Mingyu looked me in the eyes.

I slowly nodded my head. Mingyu pursed his lips together and then he stood up, pulling me up with him in the process.

"Do I need to change?" I questioned.

"No. I just um... I need a shirt," Mingyu chuckled.

I bit my lip to keep from laughing.

"Hold on, I'll go get one of Hoshi's shirt," I walked past him and jogged up the stairs to Hoshi's room.

His extremely messy room. I had to push piles of dirty laundry around on the floor so I could get to his dresser.

I will never understand why boys can't clean up after themselves.

I rummaged through his drawers,
looking for a plain tee shirt. I finally found one that looked decent enough.
The tee-shirt was red with a skateboard on the front.

Hey, that even matches Mingyu's personality.

As I passed my room, I decided that it would be best if I swapped my sweatpants for a pair of jeans, so that's exactly what I did.

I grabbed a beanie from my hat rack and then raced back down the stairs so I could find Mingyu.

I found him waiting at the front door. I threw him the shirt and he caught it.
Quickly he threw it over his head and then pulled it down to cover his bare torso.

I hope he has his jacket in the car or something because if he doesn't he's going to freeze outside.

"You ready?" He asked me.

"Yeah..." I told him.

He reached for my hand and then intertwined our fingers together.

When we first walked outside into the cold autumn air I shivered.

The wind was knocking the leaves off of the trees and then they were gracefully drifting into little piles in the grass.

I love fall, it's my favorite season.

Mingyu unlocked the car and we both got in.

Mingyu turned on his Of Favourite C.D. and we both started jamming out on the way to the mystery place.

I was now blind folded. Mingyu was guiding me through the woods to his mystery spot.

Should I be scared right now?

Oh gosh, I hope I don't trip or make a fool out of myself.

That would be embarrassing. Wow. Ok. Concentrate, breathe, and calm down.

Everything is going to be ok.

"And we're here. You can take the blind fold off now," Mingyu whispered in my ear.

I put my hands behind my head and untied the bandanna.

I gasped when I opened my eyes. It was beautiful. The whole area around us was a sea of orange, yellow, red, and brown.

There were only two things in the area that weren't that color, the two large gray boulders and the dark blue pond.

"This is... just wow... it's beautiful," I was speechless.

I knew what I wanted to say, but the words just would not come out of my mouth.

"You like it?" I looked into Mingyu's eyes, they were full of hope.

"I love it," I kissed Mingyu's cheek.

He returned the gesture by kissing my forehead.

"How did you find this place?"

"Actually, this was where my mom and dad used to come when they were in high school... before they were divorced." He mumbled the last part.

I watched as he walked over to a large maple tree. I didn't have my glasses on or my contacts in so I couldn't exactly make out what he was tracing... but it looked like a name.

I walked up behind Mingyu and only then did I see what he was tracing.

There were two initials and a heart around them.

"This was their spot," I assumed he's referring to his parents.

"They were high school sweehearts... from the stories they used to tell me... if you heard them you would realize how much they loved each other." I put my hand on Mingy 's shoulder and I tried to comfort him.

"All of this... Hyurin, I have something to ask you."

"What is it?" I questioned.

Mingyu turned towards me and he put his hands on my waist.

"Everyday for the past eight months you've been on my mind. I wanted so badly to kiss you, to hold you, to love you... but, there was Wonwoo in the way. Now Wonwoo's gone and maybe I have a chance. I'm sorry that our first date was a complete disaster and I promise that I will make that up to you... the point I'm trying to get at is, I want you to be my girlfriend. You've made me change for the better and I've never been happier. So, Hyurin, will you be mine?" Mingyu looked into my eyes as he waited for my answer.

I wanted to scream so badly, 'Yes! I will be!' but, I need to be more mature about this.

"Of course I will Mingyu. I thought that you would never ask," I told him.
The corners of his mouth twitched up
as he picked me up off of my feet and spun me around.

"God, you're perfect," he mumbled before his lips slowly collided with mine.
