Chapter 7

I couldn't move- the engine flashed in my mind as I closed my eyes shut.

I felt a hand being placed under my chin, my head was titled upwards as I opened my eyes, Eddie was crouched behind me staring down at me with a slight glare.

I quickly got out of his grip, turning around I backed away from him as he stood, I looked around for a way out- that's when I spotted a vent, the vent was barely open as I made that my target.

Eddie took a step forward, "Darling, you've been through so much... If you stay with me I won't let anything happen to you."

I raised a brow confused 'Did he watch my video?'

I still had room to run, 'Then go! Before he traps you!' I quickly darted to the right, Eddie took out his knife from his pocket, cutting me in the side of my hip, I hissed in pain as he went to stab me, I crouched down making him miss as I then limped as fast as I could to the vent, opening it, I crawled into the vent, I then felt something being placed on my ankles, turning I saw Eddie having a good grip on my ankles as he tried to pull me out of the vent.

I gripped the edges of the vent as I looked around for something to hit him with, "You think you're safe in there?" He snapped stabbing my leg as I screamed in pain, I struggled to pull my leg free, he had a strong grip on me, finally pulling one of my legs free I kicked him in the face, he let me go as I crawled into the vent shutting it behind me as I crawled deeper into the vent, my hair fell in front if my dark brown eyes as I was shaking.

'Calm down, Waylon.. You're safe..'

I stopped crawling when I came across three different paths, 'Fuck! Okay, Waylon.. Let's see which way is out of here?'

I glanced around, the way to my left had light at the end of it as the other two only showed darkness.

'Maybe this way?'

I turned left as I crawled down the vent, I passed several air vents where I could see into different rooms, as I made my way to where the light was coming from I realized it came from a room.

I glanced around as the vent was more wide and circular shaped, I could sat up in the room, there was also several different paths leading out of here, but I felt so tired, I needed to rest, I laid down on the hard medal vent floor and closed my eyes, using my arms as a pillow, I soon began to fall asleep.

I opened my eyes as I yawned, I looked to the side where a air vent was, crawling over to it I saw a gym, glancing up, my eyes widen seeing naked men hanging upside down some hanging by their neck.

I gasped, covering my mouth, the engine flashed in my head making me groan as I held my head, I closed my eyes waiting for the engine to stop, the graphic images of maggots eating raw flesh and some one dying by being mutilated.

Once it was done I looked up, I froze seeing Eddie walking around humming that song again..

I backed away seeing him glance my way, 'He didn't see me did he?' The vent was dark but it wasn't that dark for him to not notice me if I was too close to the air vent.

I looked behind me, taking out a pen I had on me since I've been put in the engine, writing a tally mark on the wall, 'guess this'll be my home..'

I mentally sighed, 'I have to be careful around here though.. If I don't want to get caught by Eddie.'

I decided to go get some things if I want to stay here, I ripped off my white undershirt as I began to draw a map on it, just so I don't get lost, crawling through the path to my left, I crawled for 2 minutes only coming to a split, I looked both ways, each way had a light at the end, 'left or right? Well.. If left leads to the gym wouldn't really be a good idea so I'll go right..'
