I walked down the hallway, to my 'brother's' room. I opened the door, peaking my head in.

Ben was getting his tux fitted. I smiled at him, making my way into his bedroom. My brother's tailor looked over at me. "Ariana! It's time to get your dress fitted." He said waving me over. I groaned, not wanting to get pricked with a bunch of pin needles again. Ben let out a chuckle.

My designer came in the room and handed me a dress. I let out a sigh and walked into the bathroom. The red dress fit over my form, eloquently. I walked out of the bathroom and my designer gasped. "You look beautiful." She breathed, quickly making her way over to me, to view her 'Masterpiece'.

I smiled. "You did amazing." I told my tailor. "Your parents will love it." She said. I nodded, giving her silent thanks, before walking over over to Ben and kissing him on the cheek. "I need to talk to you later." I whispered. "Me too." He whispered back. I smiled and walked over to the window. I looked over at the isle of the lost.

The isle of the lost.... the place where many families were stuck there, probably fending for their own. I can't imagine the chaos they must live in. "One day I'll find you." I whispered, for no ear but my own and his to hear.

My adoptive parents walked into the room. "How is it possible that you're gonna be crowned king next month." 'Father' said. "You're just a baby." Father let own in an astonished manner. I turned away from the mirror to face them. "He's turning sixteen, dear." Belle corrected, quickly giving the room a 'once over'. Her eyes met mine, "Ariana, you look amazing." She said smiling. Ben looked over at me and gave an uneasy lopsided grin before turned his attention to our parents. "Hey pops." Ben said trying to get his father's attention. "16! Far to young to be crowned king. I didn't make a good decision till I was at least fourty two." Father said. I frowned at him... didn't he marry bell like... in his late 20's? Mom looked at him in disbelief. "Uh, you decided to marry me at 28." She said in a matter of fact voice. "Well, it was either you or teapot." Father teased. I scoffed. Belle looked at him harshly judging. Ben chuckled. "Kidding." Father said to mom claiming his joke.

"Mom, Dad," Ben said about to move forward but the designer stopped him.

"I've chosen my first official proclamation,"

Our Parents glanced at each other, worry taking over their appearance.

"I've decided the children of the isle of the lost should be given a chance.... to live here in auradon." Ben finished.

A grin grows onto my face at his proclamation. Mom and Dad froze.

"Every time I look out to the island, I feel like they've been abandoned. " He said walking over towards them.

"The children of our sworn enemies, living among us." Dad said in disbelief.

I looked down at my feet, my smile had dropped, disappointment drowning out all of the hope I previously had. He'll never approve of him.

"We sought out with a few at first, only ones who need our help the most." Ben said and he glanced over at me. I smiled and gave him a thumbs up.

"I've already chosen them." Ben said confidently. "Have you?" Father challenged, about to put his foot down. Ben's smile fades. "I've gave you a second chance." Mom cut in, defending him.

Dad sighed, still not all with the idea.  "Who are their parents?" Mom asked concerned. "Cruella De'Vil, Jafar, The Evil Queen, and Malificent." He finished. I smiled warmly at the idea of meeting him. The designer yelped upon hearing the last name and spotting the rage on our father's face. "MALEFICENT!" Dad roared, anger clouding his judgement. I winced at the sudden change in volumes.

"She is the worst villain in the land." Father said. "At least it's not Gaston's child." I mumbled, receiving a glare from my father. "Dad just here me out here." Ben said taking his attention off of me, and trying to win him over. "I won't hear of it." The tailor's quickly left the room in a hurried manner.

"They are guilty of unspeakable crimes!" Father shouted, condemning the kids the same fate as their parents.

I closed my eyes, taking in a deep breath, before walking over. "Dad." I whispered, pleading for his consideration. "Their children are innocent! Don't you think they deserve a shot at a normal life?" Ben defended the children on the isle. "Dad." Ben said tilting his head, begging his father to trust him.

Our father had a silent conversation with mom and he finally gave in. "I suppose their children are innocent." Dad said then started walking away. "Well done." Mom whispered to Ben. We both grinned happily.

"Shall we?" Mom asked joining our father's side. They left the room without another word. Ben walked over to the window as a tear of joy ran down my face. I ran over and wrapped him in a hug. He stopped playing with his ring. "Did I do the right thing?" He questioned, hesitantly. I smiled sadly at his tentative behavior. "I don't know yet. But I'm pretty sure you did. Cause I can't bring him over here with my magic." I said, a little smirk becoming my face. "I saw his picture," Ben paused, cautiously changing the subject. "You two will work well together, and he's supposedly really smart." Ben told me as I jumped off of his back. He turned to face me. "You need to go change." He said smiling. I sighed. "I don't want to go to class." I whined slightly. He chuckled. "I'm sure you'll be fine." He said smiling smugly. "I'll see you in class." I said and left his room.
