You and Skylor were watching TV at Steep Wisdom. She came to visit Kai for a while but in the back of your mind you thought there was a bigger reason. At that moment Nya walked in wearing a long red dress with a light blue sash and red pumps.

"What's with the clothes?"you ask.

"Don't you remember? We're celebrating Sensei's retirement today! Everyone's going to be at Steep Wisdom in about..."she looks up at the clock."20 minutes."

"SHIT!"you scream.

You hop off the couch as well as Skylor who had a similar expression on her face. You two ran into your room and got ready insanely quickly.

~18 Minutes Later~

"Done!"you smile.

You look at yourself in the mirror. You were wearing a dark grey strapless knee high dress with black combat boots and a few jingling bracelets on your right hand. You put your hair up in a neat bun and put on a black choker necklace.

"Do I look okay?"you ask uncertain.

Skylor glanced your way wearing a dark red dress with black high heels and a necklace Kai gave her.

"You look beautiful. Come on, lets party!"she giggles.

You walk out the door to be greeted with familiar faces. The serpentine, the guys with elemental powers which is when Turner started flirting with you, the ninja, Sensei and Misako, and a few other allies we've had over the years all being formal. Then out of nowhere a flying...thing...landed in the field. Someone wearing a tux and an eye patch stepped out. He had long brown hair and a small stubble for facial hair.

"Who's that?"you ask Nya.

Skylor ran off to hang out with her boyfriend leaving you and Nya alone.

"That's Ronin. He's bad news but Sensei insisted that he would come to this party."she growled.

"Please explain."you say confused.

"Well, he's the one who stole Zane and sold him to Chen, he betrayed us for crying out loud!"she whisper screamed.

"Oh...okay."you sigh.

At that moment Ronin walked up to you and Nya with a small smile.

"Hello sweetheart. Who's the girl?"he chuckles.

"For the last time, stop calling me sweetheart. Or do you want me to kick your leg again?"grunts Nya.

"My name's Y/N."you smile trying to change the conversation.

"Pleasure to meet ya."he smiles back.

Lloyd runs up to you guys with his tie already ripped off and a few buttons loose around his collar.

"Hey do you three want to play 7 Minutes in Heaven? We can't stand this place."he smirks.

"Fine, but why are you inviting him to play?"asks Nya.

"Well, if my uncle trusts him then so do I. Do you want to play or not?"he groans.

"Fine."she mutters and follows the Ninja inside.

"You comin?"you giggle motioning to Ronin.

"Yeah."he says and walks along side you.

You have to say he was kind of cute. His eyes, the hair, his funny and mysterious personality. You and Ronin reach the living room where Zane was printing out the names of all the guys playing and putting then into a bag.

"Y/N, do you want to go first?"asks Cole.

"Sure."

You take the bag and put your hand in. You grabbed the first paper you touched and took out your hand. But before you could check the name Kai snatches it and reads it laughing like a child. Jay shoves you into the closet followed by someone else. The door closes and your left with someone. You stretch your arms out to feel a warm structure. That takes away Cole and Zane.

"It's me."

"Ronin?"

"You're right sweetheart."he chuckles.

You sigh and sit down on the ground now across from him.

"So..."you start."How's life?"

"Its fine. Pretty boring."he says.

"Cool. I actually expected your life more exciting."you giggle.

"And why is your life not any more exciting than mine?"

"Ever since the Preeminent was destroyed we've been working at Steep Wisdom."you groan."A life of adventure doesn't sound too bad."

"You know Y/N. You're different from other girls I've met."

"And why do you say that?"

"Well, you thirst for adventure. And you're actually very pretty."he blushes.

"Did you just call me pretty?"you giggle.

"What? A thief can have feelings."he smiles.

He kisses you softly making your blush spread from ear to ear. In a split second you started to kiss back. Tangling your fingers through his chocolate brown hair every now and giving it a soft tug. His hands travel from your shoulders to your waist in no time at all. It was as if time slowed down. Soon it needed to end because of the lack of oxygen. 

"We should hang out sometime."he chuckles.

"We should."

The door opens and you two pull away before everyone gets a glimpse of you. You and him walk out of the closet with his arm around your shoulder smiling happily. You feel in love with a thief. A traitor. But the past didn't matter at all, its who we choose to be right now. And that's what counts.
