Chapter 15

Azumi and I have gotten to know each other more, and I love her. She is just amazing! She tells other people that she is a housewife, but really, she can kick ass. She is my role model, I want to kick ass too!

But now we got a problem, Al is missing, and Edward is freaking out. Ed and I are now out looking for him, Azumi doesn’t know yet. Ed said not to let her know, so she doesn’t beat us all up again.

Ed and I start running down an alley, I broke the silence between us, “Look, your brother probably wondered off somewhere, maybe meeting with some people, I don’t know. But we’ll find him!”

We stop in front of a dead end in an alley, Ed frowns, “This is the way he was heading, and I’m sure off it, where would he go?”

Right then, someone grabs my neck from behind, my head was trapped under someone arm. Ed glares at my attacker; I couldn’t really see him, “Let me go! Come on! I won’t hurt you!”

I hear my attacker laugh, “Yea, sure alright, if you want your brother, follow me and if you do anything, this girl dies!”

I gulp, “Oh come on, why me, can’t we be friends?”

He pulls on my hair, Edward starts walking, and following my attacker, we go through a cave called Devils Nest then a couple hallways, and then pushed through a door, where I see Al tied up, and a few people surrounding him, they didn’t look fully human...

My attacker let goes of me and pushes me against Ed, I turn around quickly to see who my attacker was, it was some small guy, what the heck, I could have taken him! Awe he looks like a dog!

Ed starts yelling, “What the hell are you guys doing to my brother?!”

The guy that was talking to Al turns around, and I gasp. Shit I have seen him somewhere!

He starts laughing at me, “Woah, look at that, we meet again!”

I gulp, and Ed glares at me, “You’ve met before?”

I try to smile at Ed and explain to him about that day I ran away from them and I met with him, “I think his name is Greed!”

Greed starts laughing and gets closer to me, “Yea, and you spat at my face, I didn’t like that...”

I back away, “Come on! I’m sorry, just let us go with Al, and then were all happy!”

He stops walking and faces Ed, “Sorry I kidnapped your brother, we have your answer to everything but you have our information on how you did that to your brother”

I look at Ed and see how stiff he was, his jaw was shut tight, and he looked like he was about to explode. Oh no.

Greed keeps talking, “Look come on! I just want to be friends!”

I start laughing, he looked to cute when he said that, then Ed glares at me. Al starts talking, “Brother, these guys other than Greed are chimeras! Greed is a homunculus! Look at his tattoo!”

I look at the tattoo on Greed’s hand and then look at Ed, “Look! That is the same tattoo that stupid lady and that guy had down in the fifth laboratory!”

Ed starts nodding his head, “But that’s impossible, you can’t just create a person form alchemy!”

I raise my eyebrows; I read a little bit about homunculus, “Wait, so you’re not human, means you can’t die?”

Fear and despair feelings fill me; does that mean my mother is really a monster? If I was created by her, does that mean I am a monster too? My biggest fear was that my theories were true, now they are.

Ed slowly turns his head at me, he was thinking the same thing, I start stuttering, “That can’t be possible, it just can’t, stop, stop, stop, I am not a monster!”

Then Greed starts laughing, and points at me, “Oh, okay, now I get all this, you must be that subject from Lust, wow, then you must have some traits of being a bitch.”

I clench my hands, “Shut up, I am not her subject, what am I then huh? Not even considered human?”

He smirks, “No stupid, you’re not a homunculus, they just did experiments on you when you were born, Lust is your mother though. You should probably be ashamed of that; she is a bitch and evil!”

I start shaking, experiments? I feel like an animal right know!

Then Edward starts yelling, “Shutup already! Give me back my brother!”

I look up and see Al being picked up and walked away from room, Edward charges at Greed.

I see sparks of Ed performing alchemy and then seeing Greed covering his body with something, what was that?

I start yelling, “Oh come on! Why do people like you guys even exist? Why can’t we just have Al back and everyone is happy!”

Greed pushes Ed away and comes running at me, I get pinned against the wall which hurt my back, he grabs my arms and pins them on top of my head, he smirks, “You know, I didn’t really get to know your name, I told you mine!”

I spit at him, “I’m pretty sure I did!” I bring up my knee, and kick him right between the legs. He collapses on the floor, then I bring my foot up and aim a kick right at his head, making him flung to the ground.

He quickly gets up and punches me in the stomach. Ed and I keep fighting Greed, and then Ed manages to rip through Greed’s armour. Shocking Greed made him even madder, his kicks got stronger but our kicks and punches at Greed didn’t even scratch him. But on Ed and me, we were both bleeding.

I bend down and put my hands on my knees, breathing hard. Then the door slams open and in comes Azumi holding a beat up man, she glares at Ed and I and throws the unconscious man at us, we get thrown against the wall.

She starts yelling, “Where the hell have you guys been? Going off and causing a ruckus like always? Oh you just wait till you get home!”

I gulp, but then clutch my stomach, why do my ribs always fail at the good part?

Greed starts laughing, “Woah, you just took down my men, and don’t tell me you’re planning to fight me lady, I don’t fight women, except that brat over there”

Right then Azumi aims a kick at Greed’s head, and he gets thrown to the wall. Wow, I just love her so much. How can someone be so strong?
