'Why? Why did I have to fall for him?' You thought as you stuffed your best pair of swords and armour in your bag, preparing for your trip to Apocrypha. It's not like you knew that he would suddenly attempt to attack you the fled to Apocrypha. Not only were you shocked you were sad. Shocked that he would attempt to hurt you and sad that he did. He hurt you in a way that you never thought that you could be hurt in. He hurt you heart. ' How could I be so stupid to fall for the bad guy? Gods, this is why I have never been married and have trust issues.' You sighed as you placed the last things you need, like food, before you proceeded to throw the bag on your shoulder. Before you headed out a thought hit you. ' What if I can't kill him? It's one thing to say that I can but what if when I see him and it just goes to hell after that?' You shook your head. Of course you could kill him! Your the all mighty Dragonborn, slayer of men, mer and dragons (Hence the name.) But so was he. He was you, just eons of years more experienced. Gods you were screwed. Before you could continue your inner turmoil, the door opened and Frea stuck her head around it. "Are you ready, Dragonborn?" You looked up at her with one eyebrow raised and your E/C eyes, filled with sarcasm. "I don't think anyone can ever be fully prepared to fight off a eons old Dragonborn who has way more experience than you." Frea laughed as she waved her hand towards the outside. "Then come on almighty Dragonborn." You and her both stepped out into the bright, snowy day. You saw the whole Skaal village crowed around the village chief and Frea's father, Storn Crag-Strider. He looked up at you and waved you over. His old eyes filled with wisdom looked deep into your E/C, almost as if starting into your soul as he asked you in his ancient voice. "Are you ready to travel to Apocrypha, Dragonborn?" You nodded your head as Storn called forth Hermeus Mora or Herma Mora as Storn called him. Hermeus appeared before them and asked Storn if he was ready to give up his knowledge up to him. Storn agreed and Herma wrapped one tentacle around him and stuck another into Storm's head. Once he gathered his information, he dropped him, cold dead. Herma then proceed to send you to Apocrypha to defeat your lover, and his rival.
~ Timeskip to Apocrypha ~
You weren't surprised when you saw that Apocrypha was filled to the bream with books and bookshelves. You had to admit that the monsters did terrify you. They were freaking creepy. You sighed as you made your way deeper into Apocrypha to find Miraak.
~ Timeskip to where you find the wordwall and have to fight the dragon ~
You gave an annoyed face as the Lurker dropped dead to the floor. Thank the gods that was taking way longer than it was suppose to. You walked up a little more to see what looked like a wordwall. You got close to as you could feel the meaning come to you. 'Bend Will' . You pondered over it before you heard a voice and a flap of wings. You turned around to see the weirdest looking dragon you've ever seen. He was a weird blue and it didn't look like he had scales whatsoever. "Miraak had told me to stop you anyways possible and so I shall." He began to shout at you in frost, but a very strong frost so strong that it almost killed you. It took a while before you could get a clear shout at him, but as soon as you did you shouted Tame dragon. The dragon froze before landing before you and bending his neck indicating that you should clime on. And so you did. It wasn't like it was the first time you've rode a dragon. He flapped his wing before taking off to Miraak, while you prepared yourself for the battle of your heart against your brain.
~ Le time skip to Miraak ~
Miraak looked to see you and his dragon flying to him. Dang. He was furious. As the dragon landed Miraak shouted out to him. "You traitor!" The dragon bowed his head in apology, before shouting out to him again. "You are of no use to me now." Miraak turned to the other dragons that surrounded him. "Kill him while I deal With the Dragonborn." The dragons nodded before they started to attack the traitor Dragon. They ask flew in the air as they attacked. You yelled out a No before charging at Miraak. He disappeared and reappeared far across from you, then shouted the dragon armour on him. "Come Dragonborn! Fight me!" You gripped your sword tight as ran towards him, charging. He sidestepped and cut a little at your back. You yelled out in pain before turning towards him. He Tched. "That not the right way to attack Dragonborn, you should know this." He taunted you, which pissed you off to no ends. You charged and attacked and he dodged, and you both did this until it sort of became like a dance. You charged, he sidestepped and over and over again. Anytime that you would grow closer to killing him he would run and re-heal himself. This continued, until finally you blocked him off and just when you were going to give the killing blow, you looked in his eyes. And suddenly your bloodlust disappeared and you saw the man you fell in love with. You lowered you sword arm and then dropped your sword. Miraak looked up to see you standing before him arms open, face turned away, eyes closed. He heard you whisper. "I can't do it. I can't kill you. I love you too much, whether your words may or may not have been faked. I don't care. If I die at least I die knowing you killed me." Miraak eyes widened as he started at you in disbelief. Something in him snapped and everything came back to him. Back to when you two would play it in the snow and how you would talk on endlessly about everything and anything. How perfect your mouth fit with his when he kissed you. You stood there, preparing to feel the cold tip of Miraak's blade enter your heart, but then you felt something strong go around your waist and pull you towards something harder. You opened your eyes and looked up, only to feel something soft yet rough at your mouth. Miraak was kissing you! You didn't waste time kissing him back and soon your lips were in sync with each other, and just as Miraak said they fit together perfectly. The kiss became desperate, as if this was your last. A voice interrupted your guys kiss, unfortunately. "NOOOO!!!! HE WASN'T SUPPOSE TO REMEMBER!!! " You both turned to see Hermeus Mora before you looking furious. Miraak tightened his arms around your waist as he started down at the Prince. His words clicked in your head as you started at him in horror. "You made him... Hate me?" You suddenly grew mad as you shouted. "WHY?!" Herma looked at you. "Cause I wanted him to die. You are just a pawn that I needed to kill him." To which Miraak replied, quite sarcastically might I add. "Well it seems to me that your plan backed fired on you didn't it?" Herma became red. "Seems I just have to do everything myself. I'll just kill both of you for your betrayal. Any last words?" You looked up Miraak. "Yes. I love you Miraak. I always have and always will." Miraak leaned down and kissed you and then whispered in your ear. "I love you as well. You made life worth living and taught me that revenge isn't always the answer. I love you so much." He kissed you one last time before you both turned face towards Herma with Miraak's arm around your waist holding you close, as you both waited death. Just as Herma was ready to throw the spell,a bright light blinded everyone one and blew them back a bit. When they turned to look they saw Sheogorath, Azura, Molag Bal, Narmia, Merdia and Nocturnal standing on front of you and Miraak, almost as if they were protecting you guys. Sheogorath spoke. "Helloooooo Herma. It's been a while hasn't it?" Hermeus looked at them all in disgust as he replied. "What is it you all want? I was in the middle of doing something." Sheogorath turned around and waved to you. "Hello Y/N , dear how've you been?" While the rest of the princes just nodded at you. Azura stepped up to Herma. "We can not allow you to kill Y/N. She is all of our champions and it is not her time to die." Sheogorath nodded. "Yep even Sithis likes her. More so his wife, the Night Mother and would be furious is you killed her." Herma did a double take. "Your protecting a mere mortal? How pathetic. Then I can at least have Miraak, for he his my champion and I can kill him if I wish." Nocturnal shook her no. "Unfortunately no you can not. He is under the protection of us as well. Anyone related to or involved with her is." Nocturnal smirked. "Sorry." Herma yelled. "This is ridiculous! You do realise that as soon as he steps outside of Apocrypha he'll die?!" Merdia stepped up. " That is why I shall grant him life." Herma growled. "Fine! Fine! Just get them out of here." Narmia gave a creepy smile. "Gladly." You all disappeared and then reappeared outside of the Solitude gates. You looked at all the Princes as you thanked them all. Sheogorath nodded his head. "It was the least we could do for our Champion. Do be Sure to come and visit me sometime! We could eat lots of cheese!" The princes disappeared and left you guys in the woods. You turned to see Miraak had pulled off his mask and you gasped. You've seen his face before if course, but it always surprised you just how gorgeous he was. He turned to you, and captured your lips with his. It a little rough but that's how you liked it 😉. Not to long after you pulled away and leaned on each others foreheads. You looked at him with those beautiful E/C eyes of yours. "What now?" He smiled. "Now, my dear? Now we live our lives."Authors note: Holy Shiz this is long...
