Guys I rejoined Wattpad after almost 1.5 years to complete all my unfinished stories. As a writer I felt I'm not doing justice to my reader and to my stories by just leaving them incomplete. I've a full time job and now I am married so have more responsibilities but I am still trying to balance and complete all the stories. But I do not feel appreciated with the response I am getting in all my stories. Maybe people just forgot the stories bcoz of gap. I'll try to wrap up all my stories soon so THE END is close!

Malhotra's Industries

"Meeting ki sari preparation ho gai hai nah"

Yes, Manik, this is the 10th time you're asking me the same questions and this is not the first time I'm handling your international travel. So, chill! All the preparations have been done. Flight bookings, car rental, hotel bookings, presentations, meet and greet with the Canadian delegates, site tour, dinner reservations and return tickets sab ho gaya hai. Anything I am missing?

"Miss Jannat Malhotra is this the way you talk to your BOSS. Remember you're still an intern here and we haven't hired you yet. So, I suggest you put your brains at work to do productive things. Okay?"

Manik picks up his intercom and calls Mukti. Manik knocks and walks in his office

"Mukti, your intern has some questions regarding the accounting book I gave her last week. Did she consult with you regarding her concerns?"

Mukti looked at Jaan and Manik and understands the situation

"So, you are saying that even after you explained her she is still having issues to solve the problems in the accounting books"

Mukti fumbles to answer the questions

"Well Miss Malhotra looks like you're not qualified to be hired in the Malhotra Industries then?"

Manik, she is just a kid. Chill. Come Jaan show me what the issue is?

Mukti and Jaan are about to leave but Manik stop them

"Miss Mlahotra, if you have concerns first consult with your direct manager; if your direct manager is not able to help you then you come in and ask me. This is not your home that you can just barge into anyone's office without thinking twice. Let me know if you still don't understand after Mukti explain it to you"

After about 30 mins Cabir entered Manik's office and looks at Manik who is still very much engrossed in his laptop

"Tu Pregnant hai kay?" Cabir asked

"Tu GAY hai?" comes Manik's response

"Arey yaar 7-8 mahine se dekh raha hu tujhe kuch jayda hi mood swings ho rahe hai. Socha ek baar puch ke confirm kar lu"

Cabir ho gaya tera aab jaa yaha se aur mujhe kaam karne de; response an angry Manik!

Cabir comes forward and shut his laptop

"Cabirr yaar" shouts Maniks

Manik closes his eyes and rest his head on the chair

Cabir left. Manik closes his eyes and run put his hand on his forehead

I hate you for doing this to me. 3 years ke baad bhi kyu aana, maat aao kabhi matt aao wahi bas jao; I don't care. Manik calm down this is office and you cannot behave like this"

Everyone is sitting in the dining table having their food

A: Manik abhi tak kyu nahi aaya?

C: Woh uski late meeting thi ek

Manik comes inside at the same moment. Cabir looks at him and give him a naughty smirk

C smirkingly: Manik, how was the meeting? Hope you got the release. I mean DEAL!

Manik with a tight lip smiles: Off course Cabir. Tere clients the how can I not get the deal. I'll be back in 5 guys

Manik comes back in 5 minutes and sits beside Jaan at the table. Jaan is silent and just eating her food

M: How was work Jaan?

J: Good!

M: Mood off kyu hai?

Jaan look at Manik with angry + shocked reaction

M: What happened? Looks like your moody boss yelled at you again. Do you want me to take his class?

J confusingly: Are you bipolar bhai?

Rest of them chuckle

M: Jaan like I said last time; in the office you are just an intern and you will be treated the same. At home I am your bhai and I'll treat you like my baby princess.

J: But why did you yell at me? You could have just show me how to do it

M: Navya what is our process to hire an intern?

Nav: For interns we look for final year students. There are 3 rounds of interviews: Phone interview, 1:1 manager interview and the final panel interview.

M: Why do we have this rigorous process just to hire an intern?

Nav: Because once the internship is over our interns can get placed basically in any company within the first 30 days of internship completion

M: Yes, we hire the best and we placed the best! The best doesn't come easy. Now Alia tell me how we hired Jaan as an intern.

A look at everyone: We just hired her!

M: What do you mean by just hired her?

A: We didn't do any interviews. We decided to just hire her.

M: Right! Like I said, this company has 6 equal shareholders and all 5 of you decided to hire Jaan as an intern, although I was against it but the majority wins and we hired her. But now she needs to work her way up and show that she deserves this internship.

J: So, you are saying I don't deserve this internship?

M: I don't know! We never got a chance to test you. What am I saying is if you're not there; we would have hired someone who was capable.

Jaan gets up and ran to her room

D: Buddy that was harsh

M: Real world is a harsh Druv. Jaan is my princess but I also want her to teach her that not everything comes easy. Last week I heard people gossiping in the office that Jaan got the internship because she is my sister. You all give special treatment in the office and people see that in the office. I don't want people to bad mouth my sister's success. Tum sab toh bologe nahi iss liye mujhe bolna padta hai.

Don't spoil her more! She is already spoiled.
