Matthew pov
I walk near the car next too ally. Her crutches are so annoying but I try to be supportive. I help her inside the car and she thanks me. I can tell she's nervous by her face. She bites her nails and is pale.
I smile and kiss her forehead. "You got this baby" I tell her. That seems to lighten up her mood which lightens up mine too in a way. I hope in the drivers seat and listen to the gps on my phone.
"The destination is on your right" I park my car and help Ally out. I walk to the entrance and we both take a deep breath. "We got this baby girl" I tell her.
She nods and smiles quickly before pushing the doorbell. After a few seconds a lady opens it and smiles widely. "You must be Ally!" She practically yells. Ally smiles and nods.
Wonderful. The lady says.
We introduce our selfs and I've learned that she's ally step mom and her name is Makenna. She leads us to a table which has tons of food on it. Chicken, mashed potatoes, fries, hash browns, gravy, pizza bites, brownies, and some vegetables such as corn.
I sit next to ally and after two minutes a 40 year old looking man appears. There he is. Ally's dad. He smiles and takes a seat. He looks down then clears his throat.
"Listen Ally me and your mom are on good terms but I wanna make it
clear that from now on I will be a good father. Al I'm so sorry for this! I've been such a bad person and I don't know why! I'm so very sorry I want to make it up please! So I'm going to buy you tickets to UK for a week. London to be exact. You and Matthew both. I'm so sorry Al I've practiced this conversation 124248 times and I still don't know what to say I'm so-"
Ally nods and smiles. It's okay dad.
I smile. Makenna tells us to get food so I grab a plate. Her dad keeps talking about UK. I'm actually excited to be going to London with her. Only me and her. No Chris or mom or her dad or anyone.
Just me and the love of my life.
We continue to eat and it's really good. We get desert and wow this food is amazing!
