Arastoo walked into Cams office and looked at her chair. As he let out a hefty sigh he jumped at a voice behind him.
"I miss him as well."
"Dr Brennan! I didn't hear you come in. Sorry what were you saying?"
"I miss Booth and you miss Cam. It's completely rational, I mean we spent most of our days with them and now we don't get to see them at all."
"Oh well thank you, Dr Brennan. I appreciate it. I'm sorry you miss Agent Booth. How's Christine doing without him?" He attempted to make small talk whilst diverting the conversation from him.
"Very well, actually. She understands that he must go away sometimes but knows he'll come back." she smiled before walking away leaving him alone again.
"I wonder what she's up to now?" He said to himself before heading back to the bone room.
"Welcome to the high school skate board contest!" The announcer said over the tanoy. Cam stood watching on as teenagers skated up and down the ramps.
"Here's your coffee." Booth handed her a cup from one if the stalls.
"Thanks, Sweetie!" She leaned in and kissed his cheek.
"I am kinda wondering which one of these kids is Malcolm? He's the one that killed him. Angela got footage and sent it to me earlier."
"Malcolm Wilson?" Cam asked surprised.
"Yea, why you know him?"
"Yea he was in my office the other day, he's the one with the orange wheels." she pointed him up as he skated up and down the U shaped track.
"What for?"
"He got three detentions in a row. Vandalising school property. It's a shame he's a smart kid." Cam sighed.
"Who is?" Cam jumped at the voice behind her.
"Oh eh Malcolm." she smiled tightly at the maths teacher.
"Oh yea. Wilson, right? He's great at ratio and algebra." the large man with small round glasses sighed.
"Oh this is my husband, Steve." she quickly introduced him.
"Oh hi. Teddy Ashland." he shook hands with Booth and smiled at the attire he had on. Jeans, large combat boots and a chequered shirt open an over a white vest.
"Hiya." Booth gave the gentleman a firm handshake, indicating his strength to the man.
"Well nice meeting you, bye Stacey." he nodded before sauntering off into the crowd. Just then Booth noticed Malcolm had finished and was getting a drink.
"Come on." he grabbed Cams arm and pulled her over.
"Two lemonade a please." Booth smiled and watched the bit next to him.
"You been skating long?" Booth small talked with the boy.
"Yea since I was like ten. Why?"
"Be nice Malcolm." Cam popped her head out from behind Booth.
"Oh! Hey Miss. I this your husband?" Malcolm went slightly red at the fact he might have just been rude to his principals husband.
"Yes it is."
"Cool." he smiled sheepishly.
"Hey I heard about your friend Tawny. Sorry about that." he smiled to the boy.
"Oh thanks." his smile slipped from his face.
"Where you two a thing?" Booth pushed at the subject slightly.
"No. Just friends." he replied curtly then walking away. Cam raised her eyebrows at Booth and then turned to see what the loud crash was.
"Ouch!" She said gritting her teeth at the pile up of teenagers, who had obviously fallen, on the track.
"Here you go." Booth handed her a lemonade just as she finished her coffee.
"Are you trying to make me need to pee?" She took it of him and took a sip of the refreshment.
"OK folks looks like it's 'bout to start rainin' so we are gonna need to postpone this till another date. Please use the exits required and I hope to see you again soon!" The voice came on and created many sighs from contestants.
"Guess we better head huh?" She turned to Booth.
"Guess so. Shall we darling?" He looped his arm through hers as the began to walk of the large field back to there temporary car.
"Actually you go ahead. I'm gonna look for clues about this Malcolm kid. All we need is to find out a motive and the bar that hit her on the head as we have all we need."
"Well how will you get home?" Can asked.
"I'll get a cab." he shrugged and walked off into the moving crowd.
Two hours later Booth walked in the door.
"Steve, is that you?" Cam cakes out just in case it wasn't.
"Just me." he shouted grabbing a beer to celebrate.
"Get anything?" She came through from the bedroom.
"Got enough. He had Tawny's missing locket and had the bat in his car." he sat back and enjoyed his beer.
"Does that mean we get to go home?" Cam began to get excited.
"Yup!"
"That's gre-" just then Cam felt a wave if sickness roll over her and she had to bolt for the bathroom.
"You OK?" Booth jumped up and ran to check on her as he watched her throw up into the toilet bowl.
"Yea I just suddenly don't feel too-" before she could get through her sentence she began throwing up again.
"I'll go get you a cold towel." he walked off and went to find a fave cloth or something.
Twenty more minutes passed of Cam puking up everything of we day before it calmed down to a stop. She was now laying in the bed in her night attire with Booth sitting next to her with a concerned look.
"I'm fine, honestly. It's a school I probably caught a bug." she said, although her face was still extremely pale.
"OK but if you are gonna throw up again in the night, wake me. OK?" He gave her a stern look.
"Fine OK! I will." she gave in, too tire to care anymore. She honestly just wanted to sleep, and as Booth got under the covers she slowly felt herself slipping away into the darkness of a dreamless sleep. Here you go guys! Sorry for any mistakes I've had really bad writers block! Hope you enjoyed it and see I next time!
