I wanted to leave Ken, he will be in danger now. More then before. After we put the blood at the end of the driveway, I wanted to fly away from him, protect him from the people.

"Kendall. I need to go." I whispered, unfolding my wings and petting the tops lightly.

"Rosella, I'm fine. I won't be fine if you leave."

"Let me live close, just not with you."

"They'll still find you, your soul is too bright for them to lose." He said, pulling me closer to him.

"Ken. If you get hurt because of me. I'll never forgive myself." I said, pulling away from his chest. "I need to do this."

"You don't get to."

"Kendall."

"We are not having this conversation again!" He snapped as his eyes flickered black. "You are mine, what's mine is with me, no one else."

"Something that's dead can't be yours!" I yelled, clenching my fist.

"You. Are. Not. Going. To. Die." He barked every word.

"I'm not immortal!" I said, shooting up into the sky, leaving him on the ground.

Did you know clouds are comfy? Mostly when they are soft and cold, white like a feather. Those are the clouds you want to lay on.

I was laying on the white clouds but, I felt like a grey one. Ready to burst. It may seem selfish of me, not doing anything for Ken and only myself but. It's not just for me.

I looked down, I was by myself again. He must have gotten frustrated. "Hey there." I heard a voice causing me to jump a little.

I looked over at a boy who was sitting by me, his wings longer and prettier than mine. He was gorgeous, godly even. "Who're you?"

"Max. I'm Zeus's son." He laughed and smiled softly at me. I smiled back.

"I'm-"

"Rosella. I know. I've been watching you, you're an odd angel." He scoffed. I frowned and rose an eyebrow.

"And what are you?"

"An efsevi gio. It literally means 'godly son' in Greek. Because I'm not a god, I can't be known as one." He sighed, fluffing the pillow like cloud under us both.

"Well, you're just spectacular aren't you."

"And you are not. I was just on my was to report you to the council." He said, getting up and ruffling his wigs out. "Giving hunters your blood, and let's not forget being mated to a werewolf."

I widened my eyes. "Wait, if you go to the council, they'll kill me?"

"Yes." He said sharply, slightly pained.

"Then go. Quickly." I said, pushing him away slightly. "I need you to go tell the council." I said sharply.

"What? You want to die?" He scream whispered. "What type of Angel are you?"

"Go Max. If they don't kill me, someone else will. Or worse, Kendall." I looked down at the pack house. "You have to trust me Max!"

"How can I? You don't even realize I'm mated to you!" He screamed. I took a step away from him, releasing my wings.

"What did you just say?"

"They'll kill Kendall and you'll see."

"You're crazy, I can't have two mates." I whispered.

He grabbed my arm and pulled me close to him, "He's been drugging you Rosella. They had a witch cast a spell."
I put my hand over my mouth and felt myself tear up. "That's why he wants you to stay. To keep drugging you."

"You're lying."

"Do gods lie Rosella?!" He yelled, clenching his jaw. I whined softly and looked down at the pack house.
