With the tears a Land hath shed
Their graves should ever be green.♥

"Bruce, cover us. Blade turn around the house and meet us back in," Sgt Zach ordered, reloading his assault rifle.

"Copy that sir," both Bruce and I replied. Zach was now a Sergeant but still an idiot, and he was best at what he did and that kept me from punching him in the nose for his bloody attitude.

Bruce and I made our way to the back; he stayed behind as a lookout while I kept walking until I was standing in front of the back door. Before I could sneak in, a bullet wheezed over my head and hit the door in front of me, an inch away from my shadow on the wood.

"Shit," I cursed kicking the door with strength. It burst open and I threw myself in the cold house. Leaning on the wall I peeked from the door frame.  Bingo! The moron was running straight for the house, giving me a clear shot. Instantly I grabbed my pistol, bringing it up, eyes narrowed in frustration that this prick almost killed me.

When the barrel of my pistol came in view from the door frame, he raised his rifle; another bullet passed me just inches away. Getting tired of this. I pulled the damn trigger, not paying much attention then gave him a clear headshot! Mounting my pistol back in the sheath, I turned around a gasp left my mouth. The place stunk like hell, blood was everywhere, and even though it was afternoon the house was dark and screamed of danger.

With great caution I took my every step, my ears picked up the sound of a woman yelling and at once I knew where our target was.  Passing the stairs which were broken and spiders were busy making their webs on the corners. The wooden floor I was walking on was coated with dust so deep that I could literally dig my index finger in it. Curtains stained with blood were drawn over the windows shielding the house from the sun.

Listening carefully nothing but the yells the difference was now that someone was laughing. I gripped my rifle tighter and kept walking to see my team was already waiting by the door.  Hassan was standing right behind Zach with his AK47 in hands. Passing me a smirk

Apparently Hassan was chosen as the sixth member for our team. I liked that a lot. He was a great time pass when we had nothing but to wait for being attacked. Zach raised his gloved hand and showed me his pinky. Meaning our team is supposed to save the woman behind this door. He started the countdown.

1....Now I realized how fast my pulse was running, the sweat that trickled down my forehead, freezing my already cold skin.

2....His other finger was raised. I clenched my jaw thinking of what was happening to the women and trust me. It felt like the flames of hell were burning inside me, tormenting every cell in my brain.

3....He raised his third finger; I gulped the saliva in my throat as Zach kicked the door just like Death marching and entered the room, yelling for everyone to stop moving.

Everything happened so fast, it was blur. One second we were waiting outside the other we were in, surrounding the two men who were raping the owner of this house in front of two young boys. Every one stood frozen, only Zach moved, kicking their weapons away from reach, and then delivering a sold kick or two in their face.
