Chapter 11: Hunter

I cheered on Eldon as I watched him do flips off the walls of parkour alley! It was nice to be friends with him after all the drama we went through. Since practice was canceled today, Eldon and I decided to come to parkour alley to get some exercise in. Eldon was killing
It, he did all kinds of flips off the wall,
Things he would never try in the studio
Because he knows Ms.Kate wouldn't
Want him just because the flips he's
Doing are dangerous.
"Yo, Hunter watch this!" He says.
He runs for the graffitied concrete wall
and does a back flip off the wall, and twits in the air 3 times.
I watch as his feet head for the ground,
And suddenly I see that his feet are still in the air and he may land on his head!
I jump off the bench and run towards
Him, I feel a thud on my head as his foot hits mine and we fall to the ground. I couldn't move, and suddenly my sight faded to black.

I woke up with Eldons face over mine, he looked me deep in my eyes
yelling for me to wake up, he smiled
when I took a breathe and my eyes
became wide open. He pulled my back up off the ground so I was sitting and then he hugged me tightly.
"You're okay! YOU'RE OKAY!" He said. I looked at him and noticed tears in his eyes. He was crying, and he wasn't crying because he was sad, He was crying because he was happy and because he cares. That's when I realized that Eldon cares about me, he cares that I lived, and that I'm okay.
"Eldon you're crying..." I said.
He looked embarrassed so I lifted
my thumb and wiped the tears of his
face. We still sat on the ground in the
green grass, he kneed over my thighs
Well his hand rested on my neck.
"Thank you for wiping the tears off
my face" Eldon said giggling.
"Hunter, you were unconscious for a few minutes, I thought I lost you" He
said staring me in the eyes. I sat there lost in Eldons eyes, it was like
time stopped. Suddenly the moment
was ruined when my phone began to
ring. It was Emily.
"Hey, Em, you're on speaker with me and Eldon!" I said.
"Okay, good because I wanted to invite you both to a party tonight for
my mom, be there as soon as you can! See ya!" She said.
Eldon got up and reached for my hand helping me off the ground.
"Emily, inviting us to a party? How unusual..." Eldon said.
We walked toward the car grabbing our bags off the bench. I thought in my mind about the moment me and Eldon just had. I don't know what it was but there was a tingly feeling inside which pushed me to think that I may have feelings for him, but the thing is, I don't think I want to. I can't have feelings for him but I just can't stop thinking about the possibility of us being more then friends. I guess we will have to see what the future holds.
