Click-Clack Man

Once in a small town of Georgia there was and old man who had no legs. He had really long fingernails,though. He used them to move around. He was also a killer. He went around killing people with his long,long nails. Because of this,people were warned to close and lock all their doors and windows at 6:00 until he was caught. One day,a girl asked her mom if she could go play at her friends house. The mom looked at the clock. It was 5:30 pm.

The mom told the girl to be home by 6:00 because that was when the "click click" man came out. The girl agreed and was on her way. She played but lost track of time. Her friend's mom told her to be careful on her way home and get there as fast as she could. She offered to walk her home but she said it was fine and then left. The girl looked her watch. The time was 5:52. She observed people calling in their children and locking their doors. "Shoot,I'd better run." she thought.

Finally she reached her street. But then she heard a strange noise. Click-clack click-clack drag. She turned around. It was him! She ran until finally she reached her house ran to the door and pounded on it but the girl's mom had fallen asleep and the door was locked and the curtains were closed. the click-clack sound got louder. She kept pounding on the door,but no answer. The pounding stopped. Upon waking,and forgetting that her daughter had gone out the previous night,she went out to get her news paper. When she got outside,she screamed at the sight. Written in the doorstep in blood was "Mom,why didn't you open the door?" The girl was never seen again.
