A girl who is at the age of 18, Kyra Banks, is new at the boarding school all the way across the country from her house she has lived in since she could remember. She even has to give up her whole life just to go there. Now as you can see she doesn't want to go at all, but her mom and dad are making her. Correction: stepmom. Her mom died last year in a car accident. Ever since Kyra has hated life because everything went downhill from there. Soon after Kyra settles in she begins to see life isn't so bad. Or is it? Is this fate, karma, the lord, what? She asks herself that question everyday. Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and last but not least Friday. Her boarding school is very stict too which makes it even more of an hellhole, but she finds friends, soon.... But one of her 'friends' gives her an unusual necklace. It is made pure of gold, very fragile too. She asked her friend where she got it but she never answers. Read "The Necklace" and find out what happens to Kyra, the girl who just wanted some friends at that terrible boarding school.
