Enid hugged him, wrapping her arms around him and comforting her friend.
She knew she was blushing, so she buried her head into Radicles shoulder.
This was all a joke. I can't actually be falling for this...
Enid thought to herself miserably.
But...what if it wasn't ¿ ?
"Oh Rad..." Enid said softly.
He was still sniffing, and Enid loosened her grip on him and pushed herself away.
Her head was spinning and her throat hurt from yelling.
Radicles looked at her for a second, seeming to study her.
"I'm sorry." He managed to say.
Enid turned to look at him, she went to sat it was 'okay' or 'don't worry about it' but no words came out, so she bashfully ducked her head.
Rad got up and began to walk off, he hated yelling at her, being angry with her...but she hurt him.
Enid stared at the figure of Rad, walking away.
No no no no no... I can't... he can't go
She gazed after him and then without warning began to chase him.
Running after him, feeling her heart pound through her head.
Puffs of breath escaping her mouth.
Radicles was forcefully tackled to the ground, he figured it was a robot so he was bracing himself.
But instead, was the purple haired girl, hugging him tightly.
Enid was never so emotional. She'd cry once a while...but not often.
She squeezed her eyes shut and clung to Rad, little tears quavering in the corners of her eyes.
Rad should've been mad.
She ruined his notes.
His notes.
To her...
But instead, he just gazed down at her.
She was the reason his heart pumped fast with butterflies, but also the reason it cracked and broke.
Rad returned her embrace, closing his eyes too and letting the emotions pour out.
Radicles was never emotional
Ever.
But he just let himself be hugged, and hugged her back.
Enid finally looked up.
"Rad..."
She began.
"Enid I know. I know. You don't like me like that, right¿?" Rad asked.
Enid kept her arms around his waist.
"Huh," was all that came out.
Like? Like? Like?
No no no!¡! Enid didn't like Rad! She was simply infatuated with him, love seemed more accurate.
Enid felt her face heat up, this time...it didn't matter.
"No. It's not that..." she began but he interrupted.
"You don't need to come up with anything to make me cheer up, Enid." He stated.
"If you don't like me, I get it."
Enid's arms were still kept in place and she didn't want to let go.
"Rad. I do like you." Enid said directly.
"Yeah Enid, we're friends." Radicles told her.
Enid, being the daring girl she was, shifted so her mouth quickly met his, connecting them together.
She squeezed her eyes shut, and then pulled away.
Enid sniggered at him and pulled him up.
Of course, Rad was still star struck, stumbling over his words and unable to clear the blush That seeped onto his cheeks.
They began to walk back to the store, but Rad stopped her.
"Wait! You can't...you can't just push aside what just happened." He said hopefully.
Enid cracked a smile.
"I suppose not," she answered.
Rad felt a million butterflies spin inside his stomach.
Be Sweet.
He thought.
"Hey, Earth to Radicles."
"Uhm! Well..." Rad began.
"What I'm trying to say is, Enid-"
Enid looked up in shock as the robot group arrived and Darrell had snuck up behind Rad.
Rad was unknowning, but froze as he saw Enid flip in the air and crush Darrell with her legs, deactivating him easily.
Shannon, she stifled a giggle and transformed her hand into a circular saw and slashed at Rad, but he moved too quickly, so she had stabbed parts of the ground where he had been.
"Ugh! Quit Moving!" She angrily said leaping after him.
Raymond had delightfully strode over, aiming his blast cannons at the two, Enid tried to kick at Raymond but he grabbed her foot with his free hand and slammed her to the ground, Dazing her.
She felt dizzy, and Radicles had punched Shannon's head off, deactivating the robot and easily breaking her.
Enid, still feeling slightly weak in the legs, leapt up and kicked Raymond in the stomach, he stumbled back and Radicles used his powers to fling Raymond back to Boxmore.
Enid dusted herself off and walked inside.
K.O looked at the two for a bit.
"The alarm never went off!" He said in disappointment as he watched Enid grab cotton swabs and some cream to clean out soft cuts on her arms with.
"It was a sneak attack." Rad answered as he pulled up the pant leg of his pants and plastered a bandaid on.
"Well, I'm glad you guys are okay." K.O implied cheerfully.
After they were done, they went back to regular duty.
"Ynow, you guys are really cute together." K.O finally said with an innocent smile.
"K.O!" Rad and Enid chorused at the young boy.
But...they both somewhat in their heads agreed that was true.
