(Wattpad doesn't wants to tag you, sorry about that!)

It all happened a year ago.

After Kit Walker got out of the asylum, he started an entire new life.

First, he had different jobs and worked very hard.

He bought a new house, somewhere in New Orleans, it was a nice and cosy farmhouse.

He put aside some money to go on a journey, he went to the Caribbean.

That's where he met you, or you met him.

You were the only one in your family who spoke fluent English, but that was necessary considering the job you had.

You worked at the bar by the pool in a fancy hotel.

You still remembered the first time seeing him by the pool, and since then you'd drool over him everytime you saw him.

Every afternoon around 3 PM and every evening around 8, he'd order a pina colada.

And then, after four days, he ordered his cocktail and then said; 'My name is Kit Walker.'

You were taken aback that he actually talked to you. 'Uhm, hello. I'm Y/N.'

He smirked a crooked smile as he lit a cigarette. 'Are you from here?'

You nodded.

He smiled again. 'You're a very gorgeous lady.' He said smoothly, as if someone called you gorgeous everyday.

'Uhm, thank you.' You smiled. You worried about the fact he might want to take advantage of you because of your different skin colour. But at the other hand he didn''t look like that type of guy.

'Is there any chance a girl like you would go out with someone like me?' He asked, taking another huff of his cigarette.

'Those chances are bigger than you think Mr. Walker.' You said, trying to act casual.

'What time is your shift over?' He asked.

'At 8:30.' You answered while preparing another customer's cocktail.

'I'll pick you up here then, if that is okay for you.'

'Why not.' You smiled, giving into his charm.

With one last teeth flashing smile he attempted to walk away.

'Your drink, Mr. Walker!' You shouted back at him.

He turned around and moved towards you as he took his pina colada. 'You can just call me Kit from now on.'

After your shift you hurried yourself home to get changed into some better clothes and when you returned, Kit stood waiting for you. 'There you are.' He said.

'Here I am. Where are we going?' You asked him.

He held up his arm for you and you swung yours through it.

He didn't answer your question, he just kept on walking until you reached the beach.

He spred out a blanket for you and you sat down.

The sun was setting, painting the sky a purple, pinkish colour.

Kit finally sat down next to you and scooted over so your shoulders touched.

'It's beautiful, isn't it?' He spoke.

You didn't reply, you just stared at the setting sun. 'Where do you come from?' You ask.

'America, I thought you knew that.'

'No,' You frowned confused. 'I mean, where do you come from? What happened to you?'

'What makes you think something happened to me?'

'Because you're too nice.' You smiled.

The two of you had been sitting in a comfortable silence for a longlasting moment, but you noticed he was looking at you.

You tried to hide your smile and casually looked at him. 'What?'

'Can I kiss you?' He asked, as if it was the easiest question to ask in the entire world.

You didn't reply, you just leaned in and captured his lips into a passionate kiss.

Now, a year later, you were living with Kit in his farmhouse in New Orleans.

Evantually he told you what he's been through, about Alma and Grace's death, about Lana, about sister Jude.

The two of you got married, and not in all secrecy like he did with his last wife.

No, the two of you got married in America, with permission of his parents as well as yours.

Your family and his, your friends and his,... They were all there.

It was the best day of your life, so you had thought.

But eventually, the best day of your life was today.

You were waiting for Kit to come home from work, and even though it's been twenty minutes that you sat waiting, it felt like an entire day of anticipation.

Finally, the door swung open, Kit immediatly walking up to you and kissing you deeply. 'Goodevening Mrs. Walker.'

You smiled against his lips. 'I have a suprise.' You said softly.

He looked down at you. 'What is it?'

You didn't say anything, you just grabbed both of his hands and brought them down to your belly.

Kit's eyes glanced at your face again, wide and bright. 'Really?' He smiled widely.

'Three weeks.' You smiled. You've went to the doctor's this morning for your check up, and there it was.

'I love you so much, Y/N Walker.' He said against your lips as he kissed you.

If anyone would've told you you'd be this happy a year ago, you would have laughed and walked way.

But here you were, and it couldn't have been better than this.

SORRY THIS SUCKED!
