          There's been so much happening in South Africa. I'm so sad and angry and wanting to scream becuase of the amount of frustration I feel.
          
          As a kid, I was always told to be weary of my surroundings. I never understood why my mother would force me to go to aftercare at the local school instead of walking 5 minutes to my home.
          
          I understand now that there are DISGUSTING men in this country who believe they are entitled to children's and women's bodies. They will attack, r*pe and kill us without a second thought.
          
          I'm afraid.
          
          I'm afraid of walking to the local shopping centre. I'm afraid of standing outside my school gate. I'm afraid because I'm a woman.
          
          But I shouldn't have to be. I'm tired. My soul is tired. The woman in me is tired. 
          
          The only reason why I'm announcing this is because the world needs to know. There's so much gender-based violence here. And I'm so scared that I could be next. The women I know could be next.
          
          No one wants to be next.
          
          Enough is enough.
