Hi friends,
          
          I'm posting an update to Hot Rays on Friday and I'm very excited. This story has had a few twists and turns and there are even more coming your way. It's about to get real sweet and real salty, super quick.
          
          Here's a sneak peak of Chapter 15:
          
          KYLO POV
          
          You take a deep breath. She wants to talk about the mission that will take place, soon. You know she’ll be fine and probably do more for the First Order on her first try than you did when you started. She had nothing to worry about except for the fact that you wouldn’t be there for her when the time would come to perform. 
          
          “I won’t be. I’ll fight out there with the others in my TIE Silencer, the one I showed you the other day,” you say nervously, not wanting to upset her, “You’ll do great,” 
          
          She looked disappointed and sighed, “I know I’ll do great, that’s not what I’m worried about—”
          
          She’s perfect.
          
          “—We’ll both be safe though, right?”
          
          Honestly, it was always a gamble when you went to fight. You were an excellent flyer but the Resistance had a great commander and pilot, a cocky bastard, who always kept you on your toes out there. Luckily, you knew she’d be fine on her ship away from the action. 
          
          “We’ll be safe,” you slightly lied. 
          
          Smiling tiredly, she whispered, “Okay…Thank you, uh…for apologizing. It means a lot to me,” she looked down for a moment, her hands moving from your knee to her lap. She began to squeeze on her hands as she always does. You could hear her heart racing and she reeked of anxiety. For someone so in tune with other’s emotions, she couldn’t control her own to save her life.

          Sooooo, I have over 350 reads. That means so much imma cry. This was just a lil baby story that I dreamt up and put on here without every promoting it on my socials. I know reading these fanfics takes time and I know some of y'all are reading quite a few at once, as I am, too.
