Ok but I can't be the only one who does this I like to talk "fancy " I guess and by that I mean I use more complex words in my speech but over time adults have started to grow uncomfortable by it and my peers get confused by it and kinda make fun of me for it so when I'm talking to anyone except my parents and sometimes my siblings I just dumb down my words and use slang more to "fit in"

I generally don't know if this is a bad thing or not so for the past four days my mom has been away on a business trip and so my dad has been the home with us (me and my fellow freeloaders) and let me tell you my stress about someone knocking on my door has dropped like I dont have a anxiety strike every time I hear footsteps coming down the hall and also there are so many things that I just do with my mom to justify things I want to do that when I did the same with my dad he was a bit puzzled like I have some sensory issues that have caused me to be a bit of a picky eater so usually my mom gets a bit upset that I don't always want to eat the dinner she cooked and so usually I have to give reasons justifying not eating it but my dad was like cool just make sure you still eat something .. LIKE HUH I was so confused!!!!

hey (sry idk if we've ever actually interacted but whatever) i had the exact same thing happen to me when i stayed with my grandmother. no arguing or stress at all and i didnt want to go home. its not necessarily a good thing it just means you get a lot more anxiety and stuff from your mother. sorry if this didnt help but i understand how you feel and im here if you need to talk <3

UPDATE ON THE HISTORY PAPER: I did get it all done I had a hour and a half to get it all done so yay me I also was running on a not enough sleep but that nothing new so

Nah its currently2:22 am I have three history papers seven short answer questions and a presentation for a business plan for history due tomorrow afternoon its gonna get done because I'm built different ......did I have two weeks to do it yes did I no my point exactly

I can’t even right now i just got back to dance from Christmas break and then when i went home i was tired mentally and physically so i just wanted some dinner and sleep but i just can’t even just ugghhhh
