I can’t believe I’m fearing for my life in high school. I should be worried about dating and my grades but no I’m worried about if I’m gonna make it home at the end of the day

I don’t ever want to see people who have no experience of abuse at home using that shit in books.  First of all you don’t understand how triggering that is to read AT ALL. And second of all you might not even know how that kind of situation is. Just like how an only child has trouble writing about siblings or how a married man could have trouble writing about being a widow. You have no right to use this ordeal as a little quirk to a characters development of you dont properly know how it truely affects us
