Born in England in 1940, Since obtaining a contract down on the Turkish Mediterranean Coast in 1988. I have lived in Turkey ever since. My first book "An Expats Experiences of Living in Turkey," recently re-published, covers my living in Turkey for over 25 years. My second, "Follow in the Tigerman's Footsteps" is intended to help readers discover that there is more to life than a boring 9-5 job. Although a memoir, it reads more like an adventure story, with my living a life most only dream. I later wrote "Terror Holiday," which is based on events during the attempted coup in Turkey in July 2016. Next was a short fiction book, "For the Greater Good" that covers the assassination of a president in a Middle Eastern country. I recently completed "A Dangerous Love Affair" a romantic novel, which is now with a few publishing companies. Apart from my books, I had an article published in a UK expat magazine and over twelve articles published in online magazines. In between writing books, I also write poems, with several in the final four in online poetry contests. My latest one won the prize of having it made into a film. Due to my deep concern about nature and the environment, I support several organisations including, Sea Shepherd, and Care for the Wild/Born Free. From the latter, I have adopted a tiger for the past ten years. After working as a volunteer at Wildlife Rescue/Rehabilitation centres in South Africa and Thailand, I recommend this as an alternative holiday. I feel by helping animals in need; it is a way of giving something back to nature.
