Megan

My name is Megan. 
I am in my first year of work after completing a four-year degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy. 
My love for books has been around since I could first learn to read. I attempted to write my first book when I was in Grade 5. It went very well, however, I never completed it. Now, years later, I am attempting to write a book again. 

The first paragraph of my book actually comes from an essay that I wrote in Grade 8. I still remember writing this essay, to this day. 

The best advice I have ever gotten at school when it came to writing stories is to write what you know. Therefore, I have put a bit of myself in the main character. Her flaws, her strengths and aspirations. I know I would never experience the magic that this book entails in real life, however, that is what story telling is. It is having the freedom and creative license to to put your imagination, hopes and dreams onto paper.
