It’s been at least 7 years since I first read The Last Dance and Dancing with Deception. By now I’m well out of my “wattpad phase” where I used to read like five books a week, and I haven’t been on here in a while. The only reason I still have this app is to check every once in a while if DWD (and one other book on here) has been updated. Hoping for a surprise one of these days!
Even if not, the enjoyment I’ve received from your books, especially through re-reads (they were my comfort books throughout high school), but also through just having something to remember fondly and look forward to—even if it might never come—were extremely valuable to me over my adolescent years.
At this point, I’m assuming you’re not going to complete the book. And that choice is totally valid—it’s been almost a decade since you started and you’re not the same person you were when you started this. I’m sure you’ve moved on from Wattpad and I don’t blame you for it, as it seems you’re several years out of a master’s program by now and have better things to do.
However, in the case that you’re still on here and reading this, I just wanted to say thank you. Your work was important to me growing up, and I really appreciate the work you did on here. And given by the amount of people on your message board even so many years later, it’s clear you made a bigger impact than you probably expected.
Thanks for sharing :)
