A distant howl of thunder, until all that was left was the whistling of the wind through the trees. A girl stood at the edge of the forest, gazing out into the murky depths of the lake, the trail of a single tear that hadn't quite dried still evident on her cheek.

Then she turned on her heels and vanished in a swirl of smoke and haze.
