unpopular opinion:
i like taylor. i’ve been a swiftie for a while now… but just because someone is not particularly fond of a ts album, does not mean you get to hate on others or call them ‘dumb’ or ‘illiterate’. honestly it’s getting old now. there is a reason taylor’s fandom is called toxic for a reason and i really don’t like it. everybody has opinions and you are not entitled to push your opinions on them or hate on them and call them names that causes them to delete their posts and accounts.
a lot of swiftie’s might not be fond of ttpd and that is okay! it does not mean they’re not a swiftie. she is not a cult leader. and calling people out for noticing the obvious and hating on them is disgusting.
also- stop with the joe hate. i’m not even a joe stan. i don’t know shit about him but it’s so disheartening that someone is just being dragged because they were her ex. be more mature. the amount he is getting dragged when mat*y is a much more problematic human.
at least joe is doing something good. calling him jobless or a coward is just so immature when you don’t even know that he has sm things coming out those year. the hate is so forced. just because taylor writes about her exes does not give anybody the right to bully them. she’s literally just writing what she felt and she is an unreliable narrator. hating on a person for a sole reason because they are her ex is so childish. twitter and instagram swifties are THE worst!!

@rosyclarissa yes!! jack did not do this album justice... i like him... i LOVE a&w... but ttpd is just not it... i've really tried listening to it but i only love a handful of 'em.... you're right!! i love aaron. if they would've cut it down to 15 songs in total (max) it wouldn't have been such a mess. girl don't come for me but I was not too fond of the lyrics and melodies for a lot of songs </3 i tried to, but it's not for me. there are so many good songs with phenomenal lyrics, but it seemed like it was more of a marketing problem. when you look at ttpd it does not give an academic aesthetic. the marketing was so heavily done towards that aesthetic that the songs didn't seem to do justice to it. when i listened to it, i didn't get that vibe at all. a lot of people think that there is a 'taylor lore,' like her life is just a multiverse of madness. you're right. she doesn't like it at all!! those 'swifties' think it's only towards the people who don't like taylor. taylor loved and cared for her fans till a point. i think now she is just annoyed by the fame and power she trapped herself in. she has always wanted adoration and love from people. even in her documentary, she stated she wanted the world to love her. i don't think she cares about that anymore. if she cared enough about her fans, she wouldn't make vinyl and cds with songs and then release a surprise album along with it at the same time. it's clearly for money. she's capitalising on a lot of swifties. she does not make albums for fans. she has a lot of power. she has always wanted that validation, and she still wants it. she knows that even though a lot of her fans might not agree or are not fond of her, her following is SO huge that she will get the numbers, the success and the money. it makes sense. she is presented as a brand. she is an artist. it's not that i don't like taylor. i do. i've been a swiftie for so long. i love her albums. i like her as an artist.
