i might resort to doing such. if you start acting like a nuisance, that is. you haven't, yet, so i have no reason to.

‘ ah , mr holmes - i didn’t expect to see you here . is this about sherlock ? ’ greg frowned , walking into his scotland yard office , closing the door behind him .

detectiveinspector-

greg let out a laugh , leaning back in his chair and mimicked the government official by folding his arms . ‘ i like to think that i check up on him plenty , and surely he’ll just get suspicious after a while . tell me / mycroft / , ’ he raised a brow and leant forward to rest his elbows on the desk , ‘ why can’t you check on him ? ’

that's when mycroft decided to take a seat, laying the umbrella across his lap and crossing his arms. he kept a straight posture, his eyebrows lifted upwards as he listened to greg talk. "i have spoken to john. briefly. you're quite a good help, too, though. you just need to check up on him some more. that shouldn't be too hard, even for /you/ detective."

he furrowed his brows and watched the man closely, ‘ um - i ... really ? sherlock doesn’t speak to me about / personal / issues unless john isn’t around which is rare now seeing as they’re practically glued to each other again . have you spoken to john ? ’

do i trust you? * mycroft repeated the question, sticking one hand down into the pocket of his dress pants. in his other hand, was his curved umbrella handle. he was swinging it idly down by his side. * eurus . . you're intelligent. what do you think? do i? * he asked and then looked up to meet his sister's eyes. truthfully, he /wanted/ to trust her. it was a delicate thing, though. a complicated one, too. *

            * eurus sighs . it wasn’t as if she didn’t know it was going to happen . for once , it would have been nice for her own brother to be more lenient , be more trusting * you don’t trust him . that , i can understand . the more important question is , do you trust me ? * she asks , trying to guilt trip him . *

eurus . . * the man sighed and lifted his arms to cross them over his chest, his brows lifting upwards just slightly. * i don't trust james moriarty. especially not here. christmas . . was a one time thing. sorry, * his apology was rather dry, like most of his speech * but it can't happen again.
