If you are here then you are either really lucky and obsessed with the best vampire tv show to ever come up in history or you pressed a wrong profile. Either way, you are here.

The Vampire Diaries was not just a supernatural show with a love triangle that tears us all up ( it partly is, tho ) It represented relatable real-life things while still giving us the thrilling mystical tales of a small boring town.

The characters weren't perfect but they were real ( excluding their supernatural ancestries ) How many times have you caught yourself relating on a spiritual level to Caroline's stress, or Elena's pain when she loses someone she loves, or Stefan and Damon's messed up brotherhood, or the Mikaelsons' vows and dysfunctional family, or Bonnie's nonexistent and appreciated selflessness or Matt's uselessness ( also known as I had to crack a joke) Probably hundreds of times.

I know that some people, mainly me, are just not ready to let the show and it's spin-offs go away. Not just yet. When you are with those characters and invested in their stories for 8 seasons, then 5 seasons, and 2 and going. It's hard to let go.
