orphaned at seven years old, along with his twin sister, matthew dobre began running at an early age and rarely stopped. after two long years, the idea of a future and a home seemed hopeless. then the two stumbled upon a group, the red sparrows, a commune dedicated to taking down the oppressive government that ruled their country. within that home, matt and nita found a small group they became so close to, they were like family.

eventually, they actually became that. two of their companions scraped up enough money to officially adopt them. this felt like a second chance. for the first time in a long time the dobre-kozyrev siblings had a real home. until they were struck again.

the family split over a disagreement, some wandering off with a man who promised power beyond their wildest dreams. he knew exactly what to say to each, power, revenge, a saving grace. his words were like gold leading them down a path they had no idea ended in daggers.

hydra could never take away the true him, but they did morph something new inside him. with the mind stone, they created the being the world would come to know as 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘣𝘴𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘺.
