Hey folks, I have not written in a very long time, and I've been quite busy for the past three years or so with school, growing up, getting married, moving, learning, and becoming a very different person than I was when I began writing the disappearance of cow creek. I got into this genre and began writing in it because it spoke to some unmet needs, trauma, and emotions I held for a long time since young childhood and onward. I have grown and learned and healed to understand these things and grow through and past them, with a lot of love and help from family, friends, and most of all, our God, Yahweh. Anyhow, it suffices to say that I no longer rely on writing and reading these types of books as a rather questionable coping mechanism. That said, I do enjoy writing and reading, and now that I am married and setting up new routines, I wanted to make time in my life again for books. So I may begin writing my story again. Hopefully my writing style is different and better with the passing of time, and the underlying motivations and morals upon which my story rode for a long time are now nearly opposite to what they used to be. But I shall take up my book again and carry on in the times that I am sitting and it comes to my mind. I cannot make any predictions about how frequently new chapters may come out, but I can say that after a very long hiatus, I am again writing. I pray you all are well in these turbulent times! Take care, -That Forest Kid
