time is relative; it continues as if on a crest of a wave. sometimes it crashes with a thunderous roar; other times it rides along like an obedient dog on a leash. 
but we aren't the ones holding it at bay. some say our benevolent Creator holds it; others say no one does. perhaps it is some omniscient god, or maybe, unknowingly, we each hold our own leash. maybe each of us have complete control over our lives. after all, what exactly is it that lies in our massive subconscious?
